32 weeks

"I've never seen a pregnant woman aim so well!" A voice shouted, causing me to whip around and be greeted by the sight of a elderly man.

"I'll take that as a compliment," I smiled.

Its been two months since my encounter with Walker and things have simmered down. I moved into house and since then I haven't received any notes or felt unsafe. I've made friends with my neighbor, a elderly woman and we've grown extremely close.

Close to the point that she invited me to join a senior archery class. At first I was skeptical, with me being pregnant and all but after clearance from my doctor I decided to try it; and its actually been great.

I've limited my chats with Helena and Sy, usually only calling them using public devices that can't be linked back to me.

"Trust me, Aria, its a compliment," Another man, Larry interjected.

He observed the arrow that was perfectly in the center of the target before pulling it out and handing it to me, "I've been doing this for twenty years and I've never seen anyone's aim be this accurate with only a month of lessons."

I smiled at the compliment and took the arrow from his hand.

"Are you sure you've never had any aim practice," Larry asked, practically peering into my soul.

Flashback

"Keep your arms straight, Fiore," Enzo whispered, pushing himself closer to me and positioning my arms so they were perfectly straight.

I let out a slight gasp at the sexual tension that quickly filled the room — he was so close to me that It was impossible for me to think and his gentle touches didn't help at all.

His hand traveled down from my arm and rested on my hips. My breath hitched at his touch causing me to close my eyes as a pathetic attempt to stop the rapid beating of my heart.

"Enzo...I can't focus," I whispered.

"You can, Fiore. Just relax."

I opened my eyes and took a deep breath, steadying my arms and aiming directly at the head of the target. Enzo let out a pleased hum causing me to pull the trigger. The bullet hit the point perfectly causing me to let out a gasp of excitement before turning to face Enzo.

"I did it!" I exclaimed, not even bothering to hid my excitement.

Enzo softly smiled and gave me a soft peck on the lips before pulling me into a passionate kiss. Moments later he pulled away and gazed into my eyes, lovingly.

"I told you that you were a natural," Enzo spoke, pulling me closer then dipping me.

"Do you want your reward now?"

Present day

I cleared my throat and tried my hardest to push that memory far into my mind before awkwardly smiling at Larry, "No, never."

"Then you're a natural Aria, pretty soon you'll be better than me."

I loudly gasped, "I could never!"

Larry laughed at my overly dramatic response then bid himself goodbye, going to talk with people who needed his help.

"God...I need to go shopping again," I groaned to myself, staring at my practically empty pantry. I let out a sigh and grabbed a bag of chips before shutting the door.

When I went to grab a bowl to put the chips inside until I felt a faint pain rushing through my stomach causing me to grip onto the counter. This was a pain I've experienced a lot these past two months, the feeling of my babies kicking.

I lifted my shirt and noted the small foot print on my stomach then placed my hand over it. This has become a routine, each time a baby kicks I place my hand over their foot print. When I first started doing this the babies kept kicking, almost as if they knew this was my way of saying 'I love you'.

Moments later the pain subdued and the footprint had disappeared. I put my shirt back down and poured the chips into the bowl then headed into the living room.

I turned the tv on, flipping through the channels. I lazily scrolled through the endless options, but nothing seemed to capture my attention. I was just about to give up when the sound of my doorbell rang through the room.

"Are you kidding me?" I groaned to myself, struggling to get up from the couch. When I finally managed to stand up I dragged myself to the door, practically running out of energy. I've really learned how hard basic things can become and how important it is to take it easy at times.

I closed my eyes and braced myself, since being on the run every time I open the door I have to mentally prepare myself. Since theres no peephole all I can rely on is luck and it hasn't failed me yet so I can only pray it doesn't yet.

I unlocked the door and swung open the door, letting out a gasp when I made eye contact with the person standing at the door, "Dad?"

Suddenly a sharp cramp rushed through my stomach and I nearly sunk to my knees at the intensity of the pain. I let out multiple grunts until the pain became less aggressive.

I didn't know what caused the sudden pain until I felt a slight pop followed by water slowly trickling down my thigh, causing everything to become apparent to me.

"My water just broke."
