Jessica's P.O.V
"It's a simple high note, why can't you get it?!", my brother Dustin told me. "Well I'm sorry! I'm trying!", I screamed back. "Guys can you please stop arguing, we don't have time.", Michael said. We were currently in band rehearsals and it was 10:00 a.m. and some of us were still tired. "Okay, let's practice All Systems Go (just in case you didn't know it's a song by Oh No Fiasco but pretend they sing it)", I said and we started playing (Watch the video to listen to the song).
As soon as we finished singing the song we heard some people clapping behind us. The Lynches. "That was awesome guys!", Rydel said while the rest just nodded and smiled. "Thanks, how long have you been standing there?", Samantha asked. Riker simply answered "Halfway through the song". We walked upstairs,since we were in our basement, and caught up with each other. "So, how about your love lives. I'm pretty sure you guys have girls and boys drooling over you", Rydel asked us. "Oh Dustin has a girlfriend", AJ said while nudging Dustin. "She's not my girlfriend, yet", he said with a smirk on his face. "How about you Jess, do you have a boyfriend?", Ross asked me.
"No, and I don't think I will in a while", I answered. "And why is that?", Rydel butted in. "Some problems that I had before, but I don't wanna talk about it", I replied feeling a little emotional secretly inside. Everyone else just stayed silent and my siblings were looking at me worriedly until Samantha spoke up, "How about we all go to the beach, that way we can hang out like old times". We all agreed and headed towards the beach. Once at the beach, the rest of the day consisted of:volleyball, swimming, surfing, soccer, lots of food, some dancing and singing with our guitars in hand, and a little more surfing. Ross was talking to me an awful lot and he's also been a little clingy with me. He's been acting rather strange.
Ross' P.O.V
Wow. Today was one of the best days. Especially since I spend a lot of time around Jessica. Man she's amazing with that long brown hair and those beautiful hazel eyes that shine in the sun. *Calm down Ross* I told myself. Now we are all heading back over to the Johnson's place and have dinner. The only thing weird about today was Rocky. He was looking continuously at Jess and glaring at me once in a while. I was seriously about to blow and ask him what was wrong with him and why he kept shooting me death glares at me. But instead, I let it slip away.
Rocky's P.O.V.
Ugh. Ross was hanging out with Jess and honestly it was pissing me off. I can clearly see he has a thing for her. But I can't let him get to her before I do. *Calm down Rocky. He's your brother* , I told myself. "Rocky, you okay dude?", I heard Riker say and I realized I was sitting on the couch at the Johnson's house. I must've gotten lost in my thoughts. "Yeah dude, I'm alright", I answered. "Are you sure, cause you were kind of zoned out there for about 10 minutes." "Seriously Riker, I'm fine, I was just thinking." He nodded still not believing what I had just said. "Guys what about we watch a movie", I asked. "Yes! Let's watch Romeo and Juliet!", Ross said. "NO!", we all screamed knowing that is Ross' favorite movie. "I'm gonna call Kaitlyn and see if she wants to come over", Jess said. About 10 minutes later we had all agreed in watching The Conjuring, which Riker was clearly not happy about and neither was Rydel. We had popcorn, candy, and sodas ready and the bell rang. "I'll get it", said Riker. He opened and Kaitlyn walked in beside him.
Kaitlyn's P.O.V
I rang the doorbell to Jess' house and Riker answered it looking WONDERFUL. I can't help it, I'm head over heals for this guy. "Hi Kaitlyn", he said breaking me away from my thoughts. "Hi Riker", I answered trying not to stutter. "Come on in, we're watching a The Conjuring", he said. "Oh great", I said sarcastically. Obviously you can tell that I hate scary movies. "You don't like them,
don't you?" "Nope", I said. "That's okay, I don't like them either. But if it makes you feel better, you can sit next to me. Don't worry, I'll protect you", he said flexing his 'muscles' while making me giggle. "Why thank you Captain Riker", I said playfully. We walked in the living room and right after said hi to everyone, we began watching the movie.
-Halfway through the movie-
I kept closing my eyes every time something scary happened. "You okay?", Riker asked looking kinda worried. "Not really", I said. "Come here". I did as Riker said and he wrapped his arms around me. I leaned my head against his chest. To be honest, I was practically screaming inside. I felt warm and safe, as I was drifting to sleep in Riker's arms.
Riker's P.O.V
I looked down at Kaitlyn and saw she was fast asleep. She looked so adorable, and she was lightly snoring peacefully. I caught a glimpse to where Jess was sitting next to Rocky. She turned around, took a look at Kaitlyn and I, and then she whispered towards my direction,"OTP." I rolled my eyes and then turned my glance onto the TV. The movie ended and everyone had crashed. I was also drifting to sleep. This was clearly an awesome day.
