"What Have I Done?!"

Rydel's P.O.V. "I'm so bored", Ryland said as he walked downstairs into the living room. "Dude, you just woke up", Riker said. "I know, but I'm still bored!", he repeated. I rolled my eyes as i grabbed my phone. I decided to text Jessica because, well, I was a little bored as well. -Text Convo.- (R=Rydel, J=Jessica) J- Hey Delly. What's up? R- Nothing much. I'm just a little bored.                                                           J- Why don't you come on over with your brothers and we can hang out at my house?                      R- That sounds awesome. Oh, can Ellington come? J- Yeah sure. Just remember to bring your swimsuits.                          R- Okay. See ya. <3                                   J- Okay. Bye <3                            -End of Text Convo.- "Hey guys, get your butts off the couch. We're going over to the Johnson's house", I told the boys as I searched Ell's number in my contacts list. "YES!", I heard Ross and Rocky shot with excitement and then I saw them giving each other death glares. I just gave them a weird look and went upstairs to change. When we were all ready we walked out of the house to see Ell already ringing the doorbell across the street to the Johnson's house. We caught up to him and said hi to each other. As we walked in we saw Jess, AJ and Dustin on the floor play fighting while Samantha and Michael just watched them laughing their butts off. Jess' P.O.V. Dustin was tickling me and I was lying on the floor. I had teased him about his crush on this girl and he immediately began tickling me. "Someone h-elp!", i I said between laughs. Next thing you know AJ jumps on Dustin's back and starts playfully punching him. I got out from under Dustin and began helping AJ. "Ha! Payback sucka!", I screamed tickling Dustin alongside AJ. Samantha and Michael were laughing there heads off when the doorbell rang. We were still on the floor tickling each other when we saw the Lynches' and Ellington walk in. "Wow, aren't you guys mature", Riker said. AJ, Dustin and I stood up ending the 'fight', still laughing. "Hey Delly", I said while hugging her. "Hey Jess", she said. "You guys ready for an awesome day?!", Michael said and the guys cheered crazily. We got into our swimsuits and headed towards the pool in our backyard. "You look hot." I turned around to see Ross standing with a smirk. "You don't look so bad yourself, Rossy Bear", i said. We just laughed at each other and he did a backflip on the diving board. "Is Kaitlyn coming over today?", Riker asked. "No. She had to go to the studio today. Why?", Samantha asked. "No reason", he answered. "Aww. Riker has a crush", Rocky sang. "No, I don't! I just thought it would be nice of us to ask her if she wanted to tag along", he defended. Rocky just rolled his eyes,"Yeah. Sure." ****** "I'll go bring some lemonade", I told the rest. We had been swimming for about 30 minutes and we were all getting thirsty. "I'll come help you", Rocky said following behind me. Once we were in the kitchen Rocky spoke up, "Hey, umm, Jess". "Yeah?", I turned my gaze away from the cups of lemonade and stared into his eyes. "I was wondering, I mean if you want. If you don't then its fine. I won't min-". "Rocky, don't stammer. What were you wondering?", I cut him off. He sighed and said "Will you go out with me?" I was shocked and taken back. I didn't expect him to ask me this. I mean, who would like me? Plus, I can't make another mistake. But Rocky's your best friend he would never do anything to hurt you, I told myself. "Jess?", Rocky said pulling me away from my toughts. "You okay? I'm sorry, what I said was weird." "No Rocky, it's fine" "So, will you? Will you go out with me?" Come on Jess. You obviously have a crush on this guy. Go ahead. Shut up conscience. Ugh. Maybe I should give this a chance. "Yes" Rocky looked surprised by my answer. "What?" "I said yes, I will go out with you." He smiled, relief displayed on his face. "Great. So, umm, movies?" "Yeah, sounds cool." "Ok then. I'll pick you up tomorrow at 7:00 pm." "Cool." We headed back out and I was smiling. I hope I made the right decision. Rocky's P.O.V. "Yes", Jess said. Did I hear wrong? "What?", I asked, hoping I wasn't wrong. "I said yes, I will go out with you". YES! Calm down Rocky. "Great. So, umm, movies?" I asked. Man, Rocky, why do you have to be so shy? "Yeah, sounds cool". "Ok then. I'll pick you up tomorrow at 7:00 pm" "Cool", she said. Great. That wasn't so bad. We headed back out with the lemonades in our hands. I'm pretty sure I was smiling like an idiot. Jess' P.O.V. We swam around for 1 more hour. It was 1:00 pm and we decided to head back inside. "Let's order pizza!", AJ suggested. Riker got his phone and called Domino's Pizza. When the pizza arrived we began eating. "I'm gonna put some music on", I said standing up connecting my phone to our stereo. I hit shuffle and Rebel Love Song by Black Veil Brides came on. "YES!" Dustin and I screamed. Everyone looked at us weirdly and began laughing when they saw us dancing and singing along. "How can you like this music?" Riker asked. "Hey, we're too punk rock", Dustin said. Riker rolled his eyes and chuckled. "SO TAKE YOUR HAND IN MINE, IT'S OURS TONIGHT! THIS IS A REBEL LOVE SONG! HEARTS WILL SACRIFICE IT'S DO OR DIE! THIS IS A REBEL LOVE SONG!", Dustin and I sang along. Everyone was laughing at how crazy we were acting over one song. The song ended and we kept listening to music while talking to each other. "Ok seriously. How can you guys like that kind of music?", Rydel asked. "It's like asking why we breathe", I said. "How does that relate?", she asked. "I don't know. I'm just trying to show everyone likes what they like", I responded plainly. "True", she said. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom. Be right back", I said. I walked to the bathroom and did my business. I washed my hands and caught a glimpse of my arms. Old faded scars displayed. I was a self harmer, but my brothers and sister helped me and I've been 4 months clean. I sighed covering my arms with my bracelets that I had earlier and I walked out of the bathroom. I bumped into someone. Ross. "Sorry Ross." "It's okay" he said with a smile. "Hey listen, I wanted to ask you something", he said. "Ask me what?" "Will you go on a date with me?" Umm, Houston , we have a problem. Ya think?! "So?", Ross asked. "Well I-I uh, umm." Great now you're stuttering. Shut up conscience and stop being so damn obvious! What am I gonna do? I don't wanna let him down or reject him. That will ruin our friendship. But what about Rocky. I don't know. Say yes to Ross. Are you sure? Yeah, Rocky won't know. Just say yes. Go on a date with him and Rocky. Plus, this way you will see who you like more. "Jess?", Ross said. "You okay?" I'm trusting you conscience. "Yes, I'll go out with you." "Cool. Then what do you think about going to the beach?" "Sure, sounds fun." "I'll pick you up tomorrow at 11:00 am" "What time will we be back?" "Around 3:00 if it's okay with you" "Perfect" "Okay then", he said. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and headed towards the bathroom. Great, if you come back on time you'll be able to go out with Rocky too. But what if they find out? What if they take it the wrong way and say I'm a crazy slut. What if I loose my friends? Oh lord. What have I done?!
