All the guards seemed to have been notified about Damien's running away and the need to bring him back because, no matter what Damien told them, they didn't seem to listen. So Damien and Pip were running through the halls, Damien clutching Pip's hand tightly.
The twists and turns of the halls, "Don't you recall the way out?" Philip asks.
"Um... I did, but... ah, it's like this place is moving around!" Damien replies.
That's when a glowing guard jumped in front of them, "Shit!" Damien shot a load of fire at the man, but nothing happened, "Shit. Fireproof."
"Is there anything else you're capable of?" Philip asks.
"Um... I mean, I can, but they still need practice and it might exactly make things worse when in such a small space," Damien explains.
"So, what's the plan, then!?" Philip asks.
"Um...." Damien looked around.
As they stood there, thinking fast, Damien noticed a ventilation duct or whatever this place's version of it is, in the ceiling. He pointed at it and said, "Up there! We might be able to crawl through the ducts and find another way out." Pip nodded. Damien quickly let Pip climb on him and into the duct. Pip then quickly pulled Damien up after him.
It was a tight fit, but they managed to crawl through, following the twists and turns of the duct. After a while, they heard voices echoing through the ducts. It sounded like guards were getting closer. "We've got to be careful," Damien whispered to Pip. "Let's try to move as quietly as possible." They crawled for what felt like an eternity, trying to avoid making any noise.
Suddenly, they reached a fork in the ducts. "Which direction should we head?" Pip asked, looking at Damien.
Damien hesitated, "I think... we should take the left path," he whispered. They took the left path and continued crawling.
They crawled until they came to a dead end, the only option being leaving the duct. Damien pushed the duct open, and they stood up. Damien stretched his back, "Good, it's cramped in there."
"Um... Damien..." Philip says.
"Yeah, Philip?" Damien replies.
"They um..." Damien turned to Pip, confused, but then he saw three guards standing there.
"Shit...." Damien grabbed Pip and pulled him behind him, "Stay back! I'm not going back! He's not going back!"
The guards got closer, and Damien lit the fire in his hand, pointing it right at them, "Stop!" he yelled.
Damien was right about to fire the thing when, "Wait! We're not guards!"
Damien lowered his hand a bit, "What?" One of the guards removed their helmet, "Willow!?"
"Hey. I told you to stay until the morning!" Willow said.
Damien sighed, "You gave me a damn panic attack."
Pip peeked out from behind Damien, "Did you all come searching for me?"
Another guard removed their helmet, showing Kelly, "Dude, of course. Do you really think we want to work for Cathryn!? I mean Damien was miserable, and Cathryn is a bitch! Just horrible to be around, so imagine her having power!"
Pip laughed, "I reckon I'd rather not picture that."
Stella then popped her head out as well, "Look at Kelly's cool weapon!" Kelly had the glowing spear, "She looks so badass with it!"
Pip laughed, "I can see that." Damien smiled.
Willow then spoke up again, "Ok. We can catch up later, but right now we need to leave!"
Damien grabbed Pip, "Right! Come on! Do you guys know the way?"
Willow nodded, "Yeah. Come on!" Damien nodded, and they ran, following the girls.
Damien and Pip followed Willow, Kelly, and Stella through the torturer grounds. Pip and Damien felt anxiety, knowing they were getting closer to their escape but still scared of the dangers that could happen.
As they kept going through the torturer ground halls, Kelly shared some knowledge. "We've been watching the guards' patterns," she explained, "So we know when they're more spread out. It gives us windows of opportunity."
Damien nodded, "Ok, good." They kept going, and soon they could see the way they came.
Pip smiled and ran ahead happily, "Damien, let's go! We're finally making our way out of here!" Damien smiled and ran up to catch up with him.
They took the weird gravity elevator up, none of them knew what else to call it. Pip happily danced around on the surface. Damien laughed and followed.
That's when Willow saw people in the distance, guards. Willow's eyes widened, "Wait! Guards! Guys!!!" But neither Pip nor Damien seemed to hear her.
They kept going, running, the girls could see the guards getting closer. Pip and Damien were in the same place where Stella was playing with the crow and the same place where Kelly felt cold in.
Now guards didn't know about Damien's immortality being gone, so when they shot their spears and fire at the two, they just thought it would hurt but they would be fine. Sadly though that wasn't the case.
One guard shot their spear at Damien, who was trying to catch up with Pip, the girls still yelling, trying to warn them, and it hit Damien, straight in the chest.
Damien's eyes widened, and he fell to the ground. Pip turned around, eyes also widening in terror before rushing to Damien's side, "Damien!!"
Pip picked up Damien in his arms, "H-Hey, are you alright?" Pip looked at the spear through Damien's chest, "Y-You'll be alright. You're the Antichrist. You're immortal."
Damien grabbed Pip's hand tightly, shaking his head, "No."
"What do you mean? Damien.." Pip started crying. "Don't abandon me. I need you."
The guards were getting closer to them, surrounding them, Philip continued to plead, "Damien, please! Don't leave me! I need you! Please!"
Damien smiled, "Anyone ever tell you how beautiful you are, Philip? How nice you are? I don't want to ever leave this position; just being in your arms is pure bliss."
"Damien....I love you. I love you so much!"
"I love you too, Philip....you're my own little heaven. Heaven on two legs in hell....I...love.. you." Damien grabbed Pip's face pulled him.
Pip felt their lips touch and, no burning? It was just sweet, a nice sweet feeling, then after a few minutes, Damien went limp.
Pip separated from him and shook him, "Damien? Damien!? Hey, hey! Damien, don't go! Don't leave me, please! Damien!!" Pip's eyes were pouring tears. The girls were terrified, and the guards were still closing in.
Pip knew this was it, he was going back, the girls were going to be punished, and Damien was dead, just as he found out the truth.
Philip felt like he was back in South Park. Philip couldn't escape it. Why? Why couldn't he just have a happy ending,
The end
