McKenna's POV:

December 21st, 2021

Joe and I had spent the last day and a half running all over the place in LA, I had to finish Christmas shopping and was crammed with work but Joe was there to support me and make sure I stayed fed and hydrated. So grateful for him. He also got to finally meet my Avatar costars which was so fun.

I was taking a quick break in between scenes and my phone rang. "Hello, this is McKenna Blake,"

"Hi, Ms. Blake! This is Jeff Davis, it's been a while,"

"Jeff, oh my gosh, hi! How're you?"

"I'm well, how're you?"

"Good, I'm good, what can I do for you?"

"Well, we are giving the fans what they want and releasing a Teen Wolf Movie. But we can't do that without Blake. So I was curious if you'd be interested in returning and reprising your first role?"

"Oh my gosh, yes. I'm honored, thank you. I mean, I have a really busy schedule but if you're willing to be patient with me, I can make it work."

"Certainly, not a problem, great to hear that you're coming back. I'll reach out to you with more details when I have the rest of the group together,"

"Sounds good, thanks Jeff," The call went dead and my phone immediately started ringing again only this time it was Holland. "Did you get the call too?!"

"Yes! Please tell me you're coming back!"

"I am!"

I heard her scream over the phone making me laugh. "I've missed you so much and I can't wait to have you back!"

"I know, me too! Unfortunately, I have to go but I'll call you soon, I can't wait!"

"No worries, I can't wait either! Love you,"

"Love you too," I hung up and ran out to do some more filming before getting on a plane to go to Cincinnati.

"What's got you in such a good mood?" Joe asked.

"Well, I was asked to reprise my vert first role today and all of my friends are coming back for it, I'm so beyond excited."

"That's great, Kenna, so you're playing Blake again?"

I nodded, "Yeah, I'm really excited."

He put his arm around me and smiled as we waited for the plane to take off. "So, let me in on a little secret. Mary filled me in on how actors and actresses score their roles. What have you auditioned for lately?"

I sighed, "Well, you know I'm working on Cobra Kai, Avatar 3, and The Amazing Spider-Man 3 right now. Then I have the Teen Wolf Movie. I'm going to be Ahsoka in her new series. Then I also have Scream 6 coming up, I've also got a part in the next Harley Quinn installment. But that's it so far."

"Are there any series you'd want to be a part of?"

I shrugged, "I don't know, Star Wars was a big one, I was in Marvel but would love to be in the X-Men universe. Harry Potter if they ever make more movies but I doubt it." I sighed, "Fast and Furious, for my dad. I also would love to be a Disney Princess, but I don't think that'll ever happen. My voice isn't good enough for that and the only princess that I look like is Belle who was portrayed already."

Joe sighed, "I'm sure your wish will come true, for all of those. Also, don't even start, you have a beautiful voice, Disney would be lucky to have you as their princess just like I am,"

I blushed, "Smooth Joseph, smooth,"

He laughed lightly as the plane took off. I relaxed and laid my head on Joe's shoulder, "Are you going to sleep?"

I shook my head, "No,"

He laughed again, "Yeah okay, you always fall asleep on planes, I don't know how but you always do," I faked a snore, "Seriously?" He exclaimed and I busted out laughing.

"I couldn't help myself, I'll prove it to you, I'll stay awake on this flight,"

"Uh-huh, sure,"

"I will!"

I woke up when we landed in Cincinnati... "Thought you were staying awake,"

I nodded with a faint laugh, "Me too," I unlocked my phone since we were on the ground again, I watched as my emails and messages popped onto my phone but there was one that caught me off guard. 

Hey Kens, long time. Enjoy Cincinnati and the rest of your year while you have the chance. 2022 will NOT be your year, I promise bitch. See you on January 3rd at LAX airport.

Chills ran up and down my spine, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move. I shut my eyes as a few tears fell. "Kenna? Hey, what's wrong?" Joe asked looking at me, when I didn't answer he took my phone from me and took in a shaky breath, "Alright, we will handle this, okay? Try not to think about it right now, I'll take care of this," I didn't respond, I just sat there staring at the back of the headrest on the seat in front of me. Joe helped me up and out of the plane and got us from the airport to the police station. "What can we do about this?"

The officer sighed, "How do we even know who this is from? I mean there isn't a lot we can do-"

"He was the only person that ever called me that," I replied quietly.

Joe looked at me, "Are you seriously going to sit there and tell me you can't do anything to protect her? She's vulnerable and this guy has tried to kill her before,"

"Mr. Burrow, I understand your frustration but there is not a clear threat in this,"

"Can't you at least get him for stalking? He shouldn't be able to know when Kenna will have her return flight,"

"It's possible but from here there isn't much I can do,"

"Please," I said glancing up at him.

He sighed, "I'll make a few calls to the department in LA and see what I can do,"

I nodded, "Thank you,"

I stood up and took Joe's hand, I tugged him out of the room and he just shook his head as we made it to his car. "They should be doing more,"

I sighed, "I know but they have a point, they don't know my history with Mitch and there was no clear threat in that message. We know the issue but that doesn't mean that everyone else does."

He nodded slowly and looked at me, he took my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze, "I just want to keep you safe,"

I smiled faintly at him, "I know, and I love that about you but this is out of our hands at this point. We did everything we could, I'll have to call my agent and hopefully, Garett can help us handle this."

Joe nodded as we left the parking lot, the ride was silent, leaving the both of us to our thoughts and it was not comforting, but what more can you do when your ex sends you a message like that, nothing...
