Laying down on the hill with Damien was something that I could always find myself enjoying. It was something I could always fine a place of peace. When the thought of our up coming birthdays stumbled up I couldn't help like feeling something was going to happen. Something that none of us were going to expect. I would just have to wait and see.

When Damien moved to get up I didn't know till his hand was held out for me to take. Over the years I had gotten used to the fact that when ever I was with Damien my wolf was happy. At first I thought it was strange, being so peaceful around the Alphas son. Soon it just as if nothing was different, the feeling I would get wouldn't go away not that I was trying for it to leave.

It was something that we both felt. Probably from the fact that we had hardly ever been separated ever since we were born and we had been stuck with each other with the past 20 years of our lives. It was strange to think that in a couple of days we would be hopefully finding our mates. It was a wonderful thought at that, being able to find someone to love and shower in affection.

Damien thought it was a bit funny when I told him that I wouldn't date anyone because I didn't see the point in being with someone when later down the line I would have to break their hearth or them mine when either of us found our mates. When he wanted to ask Cassandra out he was a bit afraid of what I thought know about how I felt about relationships.

Telling him my honest point of view of the matter I told him that I didn't think his mate would mind if he went out with other girls or did anything else with them because if a mate really loved their other half they would be able to look past the others past. When I told him that he looked at me like I had grown two heads.

Bursting out laughing at the look he gave me I gave him a shorter and more clear answer to his question. I told him that most likely his mate had been with another before he came along. He just smiled and gave me a pat on the back that was a tad bit stronger than he had thought causing me to go falling to the ground.

I let out a small laugh at that old memory. It felt as if it had all happened yesterday and not a couple of years ago. Walking into the house I looked over and saw Amanda playing with her doll house in the corner while my parents were on the couch looking at her with adoration. Amanda was the little princess of our family and she made sure everyone knew that.

It was quite funny the way she wouldn't let anyone talk down to her. Once Damien's dad Logan had stepped on one of her doll houses and she had cried to the point were it had everyone even him self show submissive to the crying child. After some convincing, Amanda had stopped crying after Logan had agreed to build her a new one so big that she could fit in it. That ended up being the current tree house outside the house.

Taking a seat in the kitchen I grabbed an apple and watched as Damien went over to great my parents before going over and taking a seat next to Amanda. He had always had a fond affection and soft side for her. My smile was hidden behind the apple I was currently eating as I watched Amanda pull out a tiara and place it on his head. When she took out a pair of wings and motioned for him to put them on his face went a few shades red.

I let out a laugh that I was trying to keep in but to my luck it didn't. Once the wings were on him Damien turned around to face me right when I took out my phone and snapped a photo of him. His wide eyes looked at me for a moment before he made a sloppy attempt to get up. I quickly got off the chair and placed the half eaten apple on the counter before moving to the other side of the kitchen with my phone in my hands.

"Oliver..." Damien looked at me with a frown as he tried to get closer.

"Oh look how great you look Damien. Just like the Drama Queen you are." I laughed as I fouled around with my phone changing the lock screen to the photo and changing the password.
