It was strange how quickly the hours passed by and turned into days and as those days turned into a week. It was exiting knowing that I was reaching a new part in my life with one of my best friends. We wouldn't know anything till later tonight on the actual time we were born. It was a tradition for any future Alpha or Beta in our pack to stand on the edge of our border lines and let out a howl when the time came and to run around the land to see if we could find our mates.

Since both Damien and I were going to be doing so our fathers had decided to change it up a bit and have the un mated member stand on the side of the pack lines and to have both of us on opposite sides of the land. Sounds like a good plan to me as long as I got to do it along with Damien.

I was currently waiting for everyone to settle down because I was asked to sing a song before the time came for the run. Everyone in the pack had a smile on their face enjoying the party that was made for the both of us. Damien was sitting with his parents in the front row as well as my parents. Giving them a small wave I looked around and saw that everyone was seated and was waiting for me to start. Taking a deep breath I looked out into the crowd and started to play.
