It had now been two months since that night in monaco, maude as apologized a million times towards josephine that she left her at the club. Josephine quickly forgave her as she got a free ride from lando, she had to tell maude all about the car ride while they were flying back to new York.
Josephine sat in her dorm room in harvard as she sighed while she looked at the piece of homework her teacher had given her, it was pretty easy yet josephine had other things going on in her head. The fact that her parents hadn't called her made her worry, she had thought of everything to contact them yet she couldn't reach them.
She had grown more worried about the minute as she didn't receive a call back, she shook her head as she once again tried to focus on her homework. 'the way a mind work' was highlighted on the top of the paper, she had seen this the year before yet she couldn't remember what she had learn.
Josephine sighed as she grabbed her phone, she typed in her mothers number as she let the phone ring once more. It rang and rang yet no answer came, josephine shook her head as she pressed the big red button. She didn't know why her parents weren't answering, she decided to call her brother knowing he would pick up.
"What's up jose? Are you okay?" Elijah, her brother spoke. His voice was with a hint of concerned as his sister never really calls him, josephine sighed as she prepared herself to talk. "Has mom or dad called or texted you?" Josephine asked, she let her head fall onto her hands as her pen dropped on her notebook.
"Yeah this morning why?" Elijah asked his sister, josephine cpuld heard the confusion in his voice. "So they are ignoring me huh? Well thank anyway elijah, love you bye." Josephine said as she sighed, she realised they were probably purposely ignoring her call. Elijah's sigh was heard from the other line, "i love you, don't overwork yourself." Her brother said.
Josephine hung up the phone as she had to get back to the homework her teacher had given her, the 2-week break was going to begin in a few days yet she was still working on the homework. All her friends were already on vacation, some friends were working their part-time jobs. Josephine sighed as she shook her head.
She decided to continue working on her projects for just a few more hours.

It had now been eight hours ever since josephine called her brother, she had stayed in that exact spot for eight hours. She really wanted to get this project done, yet she was circling back to her old habits at the same time. She would plan to study for 2 hours, only then to find out it has been 8 hours. She had missed half her day just to study.
"Oh fuck.." josephine said as she sighed, she had almost given up on the project. She only had one thing left as she quickly typed on her laptop what the answer was going to be, she sighed heavily as she was finally done with the project. She was done with a project after one day, that she actually got 2 weeks for.
Josephine sighed as she decided to stretch her legs, she grabbed her phone and had decided to call maude. She didn't look at her phone as she had started to make her way to the kitchen, somw students were sitting there studying so josephine had made sure she had headphones on. As josephine heard the phone stop ringing meaning maude picked up, she sighed.
"Maude you have no idea how long i studied for, i swear it makes me so annoyed." Josephine said, she didn't even let Maude speak as she looked in the fridge for her leftovers. "Maude?" Josephine asked as she didn't get an answer from the girl.
she furrowed her eyebrows as she grabbed her cold leftovers and placed them in the microwave. "Josephine, this isn't maude." Lando's voice was heard which made the girls eye's widen wide, she gasped as a few students looked at her way yet she ignored them.
