The group was finally driving back home, the ride home was atleast 4 hours which meant they were definitely going to do a break in the halfway mark. Lando decided to go in the other car while josephine and Charles went in the other car, maude and elijah also joined charles and Josephine in the car.
"Alright tell me why lando is moody." Maude said as she put on her seatbelt, she noticed how lando was acting annoyed at everything. "i don't know." josephine said with a shrug, she wasn't sure why lando was now moody but elijah definityly knew as he also was angry at his sister. "huh i think you do know." elijah said with a scoff, it was clear he did know why lando was angry.
"i don't elijah, tell me then. why are both of you acting like dickheads?" josephine asked, she didn't mean for it to come out pretty mean yet it did. elijah scoffed as maude only looked confused, charles sat in the passenger seat as he knew what was going on. "uh- maybe it's because you're dating someone without telling us?" elijah snapped at his sister
josephine sighed as she now knew why they were angry at her, charles and her had decided to make sure maude and elijah knew it wasn't real. "it's not real eli!" josephine said as she snapped, she had told elijah it was fake even before lando woke up. she grew frustrated that her brother wasn't believing her, and instead was believing someone he had met months ago.
"yeah well the kiss didn't look fake!"elijah said, he was referring to what the media had been posting. "oh come on, a fake relationship is normal to have kisses else it wouldn't be believable. i mean you're acting worse then i was when i found out you fucked my best friend without even telling me!" josephine said as she gripped the steering wheel.
she hated that they started talking about it just when she started driving, it would make her want to speed. Charles noticed how frustrated josephine was so he reached over and placed a hand on her thigh, calming her down right away. "that was different." elijah said while he shook his head, maude kept her mouth shut as she knew it wasn't very different.
maude knew it was hard for josephine to realise her brother was dating her best friend, maude always felt like there was something off by the fact that josephine was so chill about it. "is it elijah? i mean i'm okay with you guys dating each other but please you getting at me for not telling right away is ridiculous." josephine said as she sighed, she was lucky that the car had an automatic gear system as she had placed her hand on top of charles' hand.
"i mean i should've been angry at you for keeping it secret for months, but no i wasn't angry. so i'm sorry but i don't think you have the right to be angry at me right now." josephine said as she sighed, she couldn't believe she had explain herself to her brother. "and it's not even real!i mean that's also something." josephine said as she laughed in disbelief, she couldn't believe her brother was angry at her for a fake relationship.
"you could have told me josie." elijah said with a shrug as he still wasn't changing his mind, josephine sighed as she looked at her brother in the mirror. "i'm sorry elijah, i really am okay. i should've told you before making an impulsive decision, it's stupid to fight over this." josephine said, although she wasn't sure it was her turn to apologize yet she still did.
she wanted to stop this endless fight as elijah didn't think he was in the wrong, although he wasn't he was also not completely in the right. But josephine was true to her words, she should've spoken to her brother before making an impulsive decision.
"how long will you two be together, i mean you fake be together." elijah asked in quiet voice, he wasn't sure if he was actually meaning to ask the question. josephine sighed as she wasn't sure how long she wanted to continue this stupid relationship, yet charles cleared his throat before he spoke.
