Charles and josephine sat in the car as charles was driving them to a party, they were going to celebrate the win once more. Charles smiled as he placed his hand on Josephine's thigh, although no one was around josephine let him place it there. She figured it wouldn't hurt anyone if he did, and she liked having it there.
After every day that charles and josephine stayed pretending, the more normal it began to feel. She found it weird how fast she became comfortable with the idea of charles being her boyfriend, lando had been throwing ugly looks at her side but for the rest he hadn't made a move.
It was weird that josephine didn't mind the idea, she genuinely liked to play the stupid act they were doing. They agreed that they would keep everything as real as it was, that meant the only thing that wasn't real were the kisses they shared.
For the rest of the random dates, random flowers in the mail and random bracelets that charles found around monaco. That was real, everything that charles did to make josephine feel flustered was a real emotion she felt. The way he spoke about her was all his words, and the way josephine looked at charles was all her.
"Do you think he'll make a move soon?" Charles' voice was heard the car, the silence wasn't uncomfortable. Im fact the silence was comfortable, yet the way his voice spoke made josephine sigh in relief. "I don't know, he's been sending me glares but for the rest.. nothing." Josephine said as she shrugged, she wasn't sure if this whole fake relationship was even going to work.
"He has been driving more aggressive, so we do know he's annoyed about this whole thing." Charles said as a cheeky smile was playing on his face, he remembered about the many times that lando had almost caused a crash between the two. "Isn't that dangerous then? If he's driving dangerous because of this-" josephine began to speak.
But she was cut off by Charles' hand slightly gripping her thigh, it was almost like he knew how much it was bothering her. "Don't even think for a second that the way lando is behaving is your fault. He's the one who isn't speaking about it." Charles said as he shook his head, his hand began to run up and down her thigh as he hoped to give her comfort.
Josephine sighed in relief as her body began to feel more relaxed, the way Charles' hand was rubbing against her thigh made her sigh deeply. "Thank you charles, really." Josephine said as she smiled, charles smiled back as he then once again began to look back at the road.
His hand stayed in the exact same spot where josephine had felt him.

The two walked in hand in hand as the music was loud, josephine kept looking around as the nerves had gotten towards her. Charles had squeezed her hand to make sure she was alright, she had turned towards him as she smiled. The two walked into the more private aria of the club as that's where the others were, some girls had tried to stop charles and as him something.
Yet he didn't bother stopping, he would just ignore the person who was trying to speak to him. his arm would sneak around Josephine's waist, only holding the girl more closer. The way he held her closer indicated that he was in fact taken, Josephine's cheeks completely turned red as charles kept her close.
"Josephine you are here!" Daniel shouted as he noticed the two coming in the exclusive area, josephine laughed as she noticed how he was slightly moving towards her while dancing. "Yes i am!" Josephine said as she laughed, the sudden adrenaline kicked in as her social skills became amazing.
"Honestly i am gonna say i'm surprised, charles has been hiding you for weeks now! He didn't even want to show you a photo!" Daniel said as he laughed, josephine looked back at charles as his cheeks became flushed with a deep color of pink. What daniel was saying was true, charles wasn't embarrassed that he was with Josephine.
