Ella was still in shock that Mick wanted to marry her. She knew how they hadn't been living together long. But they were having a baby together.

Ella knew she was happy. Mick made her happy. He had taken away all the negative in her life and replaced it with positive. It wasn't easy. especially as she knew she was still having issues with her mum.

Mel had gone completely off the rails. Neither Ella or Amelia bothered. She couldn't. She felt as though it was draining. She knew that things were hard for her.

Hunter had gone awol. But Ella couldn't focus on that. She had to focus on the baby and her future with Mick. That was what was more important to her.

It wasn't easy at all. She knew that Mick still had to sort custody of Ollie out with Linda. She was just wanting her life to work out.

All she knew was that things had been hard. But they were finally getting on track. And she just had to keep making it work.

Morning came and she rolled over in bed. Mick wasn't there. She looked up and saw him walking into the bedroom. He handed her a bacon sandwich.

Ella smiled. She looked to him. "Well. I don't know what I've done right for pancakes. But I'll accept," she said as she took a bite from them.

Mick climbed back into bed. He kissed her lips. "Your sister dropped them off. I just put them on a plate to make them look good," he said.

Ella rolled her eyes and smiled. She looked to him. "Well I appreciate the effort. I may spend the day with my sister if you don't mind?"

"Why would I mind? I love you're close with her."

The two of them kissed again. Ella smiled. "I can't wait for this baby to be here. I love you."

"I love you too."

Ella finished her pancakes. She turned to Mick. "Did you sort out the custody of Ollie? I know you and Linda have been needing to talk it out."

Mick shook his head. "She won't talk. Too busy drinking. I think it's best Ollie stays with us for now."

Ella smiled as she saw Amelia. She looked to her and grinned. "Thanks for the pancakes. They were lush."

"Jack made them. He made too many. So figured I'd bring some to you. How's it going?" She asked.

Ella nodded and smiled. "It's good. It's not always easy. But I think Mick and I are doing good at making it work. Linda is just being difficult right now," she told her.

Amelia smiled. "Over the whole Ollie thing?"

"Yeah. Mick just wants to get it all sorted. Where Ollie is on what day. That type of stuff," she said.

"I get you. Hey. Jack and I are going away for a couple days. Will you be okay?" She asked.

Ella nodded. "Yeah. Course."

Amelia smiled and nodded. She pulled her sister into an hug. "You're gonna be a brilliant mummy," she told her.

Ella walked back into the pub. She saw Mick who looked annoyed. "What's happened?" She asked.

Mick sighed. "Linda. She's saying she wants full custody of Ollie. She's taking me to court," he told her.

Ella frowned. But was this about to change everything for Ella and Mick?
