Jenny's POV

"By the way," David asked as we entered the colorful pokepuff shop. "I forgot to ask. How was your first day of flight class?"

"Fine," I said. I'm a little scattered emotionally. I'm not sure wether to be mad at David for trying to burn my head off, be happy that he thinks I'm not a jerk anymore, strangle Callie, or have a panic attack about what my parents are going to do when they figure out where I am.

I decided to just go with neutral.

The pokepuff shop was pink and white. Little booths ran along one wall opposite the counter, where a bored looking girl was staring dazedly at the swirlix drifting about. She was wearing a green shirt which wasn't as bright as her neon green hair.

I think the green shirts might mean employee. The lady who was teaching the flight class was also wearing green.

"Hello," David said, walking up to the counter.

The girl raised her eyebrows. "You're back?" She said.

"Yup!" Callie said, bouncing up to the counter.

The girl looked at me.

"So you're the victim?" She asked.

"Uh huh," I said, rubbing the roof of my mouth with my still-burning tongue.

"I know what you need." She said, turning to the display cases behind the counter. After a moment of searching labels, she pulled out a white pokepuff with a thin pink stripe.

"What's that?" I asked, as David and Callie slid into a booth.

"Moo moo milk pokepuff." The employee replied. "On the house."

"Thank you!" I said, taking the pokepuff.

"You're welcome," she said, subconsciously petting a nearby swirlix on the head.

I took my pokepuff back to my seat and took a bite, glaring at David.

"What?" He asked.

"You're the reason we're here." I said.

"Actually, that was me." Callie said.

"Ah," I said. Now I know who to target.

I took a bite of the pokepuff and it was heaven. Instant relief in my mouth. I almost cried.

"Is she mad at us?" Callie whispered to David.

"Not anymore." David replied.

"I still hate you." I mumbled.

"Cmon, you forgive me, right?" David asked.

I finished the pokepuff.

"Fine." I muttered. "I forgive you."

"Me too?" Callie asked.

"You I'm still thinking about." I said. She grinned.

David checked his watch.

"My Dad should be here soon." He said.

"How soon?" I asked. I really wanted to explore some more, and maybe meet some more Pokemorphs. Other than David and Craig, the only Pokemorphs I've actually talked to have been from flight class. There was one other Pokemorph in the class. A tailow Pokemorph, though she looked human. She had wings coming out of her back like an angels, and nothing else to show she was a Pokemorph.

Yes, I was jealous. Seriously, I'm forgetting what it was like to not have wings connected to my arms. All she has to deal with is the wings. No feathers, ears, fur, nothing else but the wings.
