XXIII - Remus

Remus responded to his daughter's wriggling and leant over (once more a hand on his hat to stop it falling and hurting Katelyn) to put her down. When he had let her go, Remus straightened and looked down at his daughter. 

"I'm glad you can't." he said with a grin and waited for a few moments while Katelyn ran into the house. Remus took off his wobbling hat and his oven mitts, but kept the apron on. It had pockets and the spare puppets could go in there.

But he was thinking about the story he was going to perform and how he could slip what he had to into the story. Plot-bunnies hoped around Remus' mind until a good one took root. Remus nodded once to agree with that rabbit and walked into the house again, shutting the backdoor after him.
