Remus smiled happily, still in his pose, and felt the emotion of gladness flood through him. Katelyn did think of men as handsome and that meant that she would stay his for longer.
As she ran up to him, her arms upraised, Remus leant down to pick her up and carry his daughter. One hand was pressed to the sieve on his head to make sure it didn't fall off as he did it though. Then Remus put both arms around the daughter he was now holding.
"That's lucky." he said joyfully. "That way there'll be more of you for me!" He reached up and planted a kiss on her forehead, putting all love into it.
