Remus had felt her laughter when she pressed her face into his neck to hide it. He grinned happily - such a punishment. He felt her body shaking with laughter and only grinned wider.
When she asked her question, Remus froze for a moment. He opened his eyes comically wide and then breathed out. He hadn't actually planned the story yet - only that they would be one. He could always tell a fairy tale? With a twist, Remus thought as he remembered why he had wanted to talk to Katelyn today.
"Well," he said in a quiet voice that showed excitement, "the story is simple. Cinderella with a new twist. The daughter is Cinder-Katelyn and her father is good Mister Remus. But you'll have to watch to find out the end of it, dear sweet angel."
