Remus blinked and looked through the flowers that were all over him. All the sweet smells wafted up his nose and Remus turned his face away to sneeze. Then he looked back at Katelyn.
"I thought I looked handsome before." Remus said, looking intently at his daughter. He made his mouth frown but it was a playful one and looked it too.
"You know I'll never leave you... ever!"
Remus squeezed Katelyn to him. Simply knowing that made his happy - even though that one day she would find someone and would leave his home, Katelyn would be there for him always.
"Thanks Katey." he said sincerely. He spun around once while hugging her and then leant back to look at Katelyn again. "And you know, I did catch you. So that means I get to do something to do." A mischievous glint flashed in Remus' eye.
