                                                                                      CHAOS

The start of something new. Something challenging. This was the first task of his quest to save his mother. Go to the mortal realm. Because Zeus said that Thanatos lived way across the other side of Greece. So all they had to do was find the temple and off they go to save his mother. Sure Chaos had doubts. Lots of doubts but that wasn't going to stop him from saving his mother. As he said before she didn't deserve such an early death. Though many poets claim that the sweet release of death was the biggest gift you can and may ever receive. Too bad it's hard for Chaos to die. If he ever were to die he'd have to die to the hands of a fellow god. Chaos doesn't have many enemies sadly. Chaos had been thinking about death ever since they left Mount Olympus. Leaving Mount Olympus was one of the weirdest feelings ever. Chaos felt like he was a thousand times more powerful than everyone around him. It was like the balance and normality he felt in Mount Olympus had teetered. He was now a grape in the world of olives.

"Wow! It feels really weird getting out of Mount Olympus!" Armida said, shaking her hands and feet. Armida looked and seemed completely normal. All her gorgeous features from before stayed. Even though the golden glow that surrounded her had left it didn't make half a difference to her. Chaos was dead looking and probably looked a mess as when he made it out Mount Olympus. He fell through the temple into the ground outside. It was really painful and really unfortunate. "Yeah..it's really unusual. I've never felt or looked like this before." Armida laughed. "What do you mean you look different? You look as you always did, but messy." Chaos flushed red. He couldn't help but wonder; did Armida like what she saw. Armida came up to him and ruffled his hair. Chaos gazed at Armida and she did it back.

Dionysus cleared his throat, making Armida and Chaos jump apart. Wow. What a way to ruin a moment. "Love seeing all this romantic shit, I really do. But guys, I need a drink. It's been a long day already and I want to get drunk." Chaos scoffed. "Didn't you get drunk just yesterday, with us?" Chaos felt like he already knew the answer to that question and cringed after he said it. Dionysus laughed, oh gods here it comes.. "The best way of getting over a hangover is to drink more. Everyone knows that!"

"Where are we going to go? We can't just grab wine off of clouds." Dionysus laughs loudly. "Wow you really have never been out of Mount Olympus. See there's this thing called a tavern. They have lots around these parts, my personal favorite is." Dionysus pauses and takes a deep breath, obviously trying to raise suspicion. "The Little Lyre."

Silence filled the air around them after Dionysus had said that. Chaos tried to hold back a laugh, Ha The Little Lyre such a humorous name. He turned to look over at Armida and noticed she looked confused. Probably because Dionysus just ridiculed her and then continued to say the dumbest name for a tavern. "Hey! What's wrong with the name Little Lyre? It just went silent after I said it." Chaos snorted. He was going to need a drink at this point too. "Because that's the dumbest thing the both of us have ever heard." Dionysus raised an eyebrow. "Wow! It's not even bad. The Little Lyre is known to sell the best wines in all of Greece. They aren't wrong but I knew I could make better wine. Also one of my friends works at the tavern!"

Armida shook her head before putting on a smile. Come on Armida, don't deal with this imbecile and his odd obsessions. Chaos thought. He knew Dionysus was his friend but that friendship doesn't exclude condemning. "Well I'll take what you said then Dionysus! Take us to The Little Lyre!"

When they had finally reached The Little Lyre it wasn't at all what Chaos was expecting. He had thought The Little Lyre would look like every other tavern; run down and smelly. It wasn't, however. It was for one shaped like a lyre. Don't let the wondrously shaped bar fool you because as soon as Chaos, Armida and Dionysus walked in they were surprised to see that there were several bar fights. Well Armida and Chaos were surprised Dionysus wasn't fazed. In fact he seemed happy. He breathed in a deep sigh. "Ah! How I love dive bars!" Chaos looked confused and Armida laughed. His confusion deepens when he witnesses Dionysus catch a flying tankard and take a swig of it.
