                                                                                        DIONYSUS

Dionysus' smile grew bigger and bigger as they neared The Little Lyre. He had been wanting to see Rosetta's pretty face for a while now. He had been so caught up with adventures that he didn't have the time for her. He had felt bad about that. He had thought of the time he first met Rosetta, the only time he remembered anything from his drunken state, nobody could forget such a face. Dionysus knew he could never end up with Rosetta, for one he couldn't go back to Mount Olympus. When they reached the familiar building Dionysus pushed Armida and Chaos out the way. He had pushed them back at the same time since the love birds had been holding hands since they left the arena and that dreadful lady.

He opened the door and smiled when he saw the usual scene. Bar fights, that had calmed down since it had been the start of week and bards telling stories through their songs. Rosetta had been doing what she had usually been doing; serving people and making sure she's friends with everyone she meets. She truly is delightful to Dionysus. He had strided up to her, his confident demeanor back on. She doesn't need to know he's actually just a scared god in a mortal world because that'd make him seem less cool. Dionysus tapped on her shoulder and when she did he had to double take. She had her hair in a different style he noticed, and her amber eyes had seemed much more lively today. "Wow.... Hey Rosie! How are you? You seem much more awake than usual." Dionysus had hoped she didn't hear him whisper wow, he was just so flabbergasted.

"Great! I'm glad to see you again..this time sober." Dionysus laughed, gently pushing her shoulder. "Hey! I did nothing wrong. Don't drunk-shame me." Rosetta laughed along, before going back behind her bar. It had been one of the nicer bars of all dive bars. Rosetta had actually owned this bar herself, she had found it in town and brought it to life. Dionysus couldn't help but admire Rosetta, she had never once given up. Something Dionysus had a hard time doing.

Rosetta had done what she usually did when Dionysus visited. She made him a few drinks (they limited it to four drinks per night.) and then the two sat around the bard's table so Dionysus could tell stories of his adventures. Dionysus had loved seeing the young bard's smiles and shocked faces. It made him feel special and he wants to feel special because in all honesty he isn't all that special. Sure he's a god but that's all he seems to be.

They had been talking to the bards for hours on end and eventually The Little Lyre had cleared out. Dionysus had been left sitting at the bar whilst Rosetta cleaned. He would help her but Rosetta always rejected. "Are you sure you don't need help? I can wash the tankards or sweep the floors." Rosetta sighed, he had been asking for the past ten minutes. "You are dead-set on helping aren't you?" Dionysus smiled, finally getting what he wanted and nodded. "Yeah I want to help you. You know you don't have to do everything on your own." Rosetta tossed him a broom from across the bar. "Yeah, yeah I don't really like having help. I like doing it a certain way. Where are your little friends?" Dionysus chuckled when she asked the question. He had swept a little before answering. "Getting tired of me already?" Rosetta had rolled her eyes, she doesn't think he saw her but he definitely did. He wanted to see how she would react.

"I actually don't know where the lovebirds went." Rosetta snorted, before continuing to clean the dishes. "Well the night before they were out by the old Willow tree. I think they were kissing." Dionysus stopped sweeping abruptly, lost in thought. Chaos had really taken his advice on talking to her? Maybe Chaos did care a little bit for Dionysus. The small grump had finally come around. "Who knew Chaos had it in him. Just the other day Armida was talking about how shy he'd been." Rosetta hummed in response. There had been a long pause of silence. Usually this would annoy Dionysus, he hadn't liked quiet places. They seemed to trap him alone in his thoughts. Tonight however it had been different. The silence was comfortable.. Only the rustling wind and sounds of them cleaning accompanied him.
