"You okay?" Andrea asked her younger cousin Janea as they walked towards the double doors of their high school. "Yeah, just kind of nervous.." Janea said quietly.
"Don't be, you'll be fine. You're a smart and nice kid. People are gonna love you. Besides, you already know Zoey".
"Yeah I guess your right" both of the girls walked inside the school and was greeted by Zoey and her friends. "Hey Andrea, Janea!" Zoey said while walking up to the girls.
"Hey Zoey!"
"Hi Zoey.."
"Me and my friends are gonna go get some breakfast before class, wanna come?"
Janea looked at Andrea as if she was asking for her approval. Andrea raised her eyebrows and smiled at the girl giving her a "go ahead" look.
"Sure!" Janea said with a smile on her face as Zoey, Janea and Zoey's friends walked away. Andrea walked down the hallway to the lockers where her two best friends were at.
"Guess what" Amy said as Andrea walked closer to the girls. "What?" "Alexander is having a party today for his birthday"
"On a Monday?" Isabella chimed in. "Like you've never been to a party on a school day"
"Barely..."
Amy: anyways, are we going or?
Andrea: I'll come, Isabella?
Isabella: yeah sure

I walked out of my room and to the living room where my mom was. "Hey mom"
"Hey sweetie!"
"Um, so a classmate of mine is having a party for his birthday. And I was wondering if I could go". "On a school day?" My mom asked. Yeah, that's a no. I thought to myself.
"I'll let you go if you bring your brother" she said. "Oh, ok.." I said and got up from the couch. I was walking back down the hallway and saw my brother. He smirked at me and waved. I gave him a fake smile and went into my room.
