Y/N's POV
I looked for my pepper spray after I put on my clothes for the day. Looking all over, "where are you. I need you."

I ended up looking under my bed and found it, "there you are."

I set it on my bed then put my hair up into a bun. I then shoved the spray into my front left pocket and ran downstairs, determined to find Betty. I hopped on my bike and started biking to the river. Finally getting there and started looking, pushing my bike beside me. I couldn't find her in the tree line and towards the river, I started making my way towards the sewer pipes and sat my bike down. I walked into the pipe, calling for her and trying to get an answer.

"Do you think we'll find him here," I heard someone say, I was too far away from them to hear who it was. All I knew was that it was coming from the start of the pipe, where the water makes its way in. I could hear them talking more but was still too deep to hear them fully, not to mention too focused.

"Please, please, please let me find her. At least something of hers."

"Guys," I heard someone yell. I looked back towards the front, confused. I walked softly yet slowly towards them.

"Then... then who's sneaker is it," I heard one of them say clearly.

I heard the one who yelled say it was Betty's. It was far away but still audible. I stared in shock, they found something of Betty's. Not her but something. I stepped closer and heard another one joke, "how do you think Betty feels? Running around these tunnels with only one frickin shoe."

I sighed, looking down, finding a piece of metal. A small one that looked like jewelry. I picked up and gasped, it was the friendship necklace that Betty had.

"What the fuck...," I said looking at it then walked towards the entrance. I walked carefully, as to not fall. I'd rather get pushed down by Henry than fall in here.

"Who the fuck is that," I heard one of them scream as I walked close enough to see them somewhat clearly. I saw as the one who yelled to the group looked at me.

"Y/N," I heard him say and they heard a loud splash further away, towards the trees.

"Holy shit! What happened to you!"

I walked out to see Stan, Bill, Richie, and Eddie. Along with another boy who looked like he got ran over. We ended up going and helping him up and get him on one of our bikes so we could go to the drugstore. We rode to the one downtown while Eddie was angrily talking about how this was unhygienic and how there's the AIDS epidemic going on. We made our way to the alleyway next to the drugstore and helped the kid get onto a pile of milk boxes. Eddie, Bill, and Stan went inside to get things to help him while Richie and I stayed with the kid.

"So what's your name," Richie asked the kid.

"Ben."

"Nice to know you before you die," Richie told him.

I glared at him, "do you want to be one of the people with AIDS, Richie? I'm sure there's some way to make that happen."

"What the hell, Y/N??"

"Apologize to him," I said still glaring.

"Sorry, Ben,"

The boys came out with a pile of items in their hands, "do we really need all of that? It looks like you mainly just need isopropyl alcohol, gauze, and gauze tape."

"We panicked," Stan said as I took everything from them and sat them next to Ben.

"Clearly," I said laughing softly then sat down in front of Ben and asked him, "so let's get a look at you."
