Y/N's POV

"Y/N," my dad called for me, "Eddie is here!"

I got up, groggy, and went down the stairs to see him. I gave a soft smile as he walked inside. We went to my room to talk in private about what happened, since my dad would never understand.

"Are you feeling better," Eddie asked as he closed my bedroom door.

"As best as I can be after that."

"Well, it was a traumatic experience so you're not going to be the same after."

"True. But you're not the one who somewhat lost their hearing and got beat."

"I was going to ask you about that actually," Eddie said taking my hands in his, "why did It turn into me and then go after you? It doesn't fully make sense."

"I... I have this fear of my loved ones abusing me. It's not something I talk about."

"Well, that makes more sense now. I'm still a little shocked that that happened in the first place."

"How do you think I feel," I said with a laugh, "I'm definitely feeling better after that though. I just hope we never have to deal with that again."

"Don't jinx it," Eddie said with a laugh.

"Mind me asking why you came over? It couldn't have been to just check on me. You would've called if it was that."

"I - uh... I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me."

"Woah. Woah. What?!"

"I knew it was a bad idea," he said shaking his head and stood up.

"No, it's not that. I'd love to go on a date with you. I just didn't expect you to be so assertive."

"I'm not that bad!"

"Sometimes. It seems to be a situational occurence."

"Okay, nerd."

"Okay, Dr. K."
