Y/N's POV
I ended up getting a call right when I woke up, it was from Beverly telling me to come over as soon as possible. I biked right over, not even changing out of my pajamas. I ended up being the last one to Beverly's, just like at the quarry."I'm so glad you guys made it," I heard Beverly say as I dropped my bike onto the ground. "I need to show you guys something," she told us.
"More than what we saw at the quarry," Richie said and I glared at him.
I looked over at Beverly and saw her roll her eyes quickly, "now do you guys wanna see this or not?"
"N-Not really," Bill said.
"My dad will kill me if he found out I had... boys in the apartment," she told us.
"W-W-We-We'll keep a lookout," Bill said, "Richie, stay here."
"Woah, woah, whoa. What if her dad comes back?"
"Do what you always do," Stan called to him as we headed up to the fire escape, "start talking!"
We made our way into her apartment and we ended up in front of a door with a bright red glow. A couple of us were silently talking and then Bill opened the door. We all stared at the bright red room.
Beverly spoke up, "you guys see it?"
"It looks like your clothes," Eddie mentioned.
We nodded then Stan asked, "what happened here?"
"My dad couldn't see the blood. I thought I was crazy."
"If you're crazy then we're all crazy."
"We c-can't leave it like this," Bill spoke up.
We all ended up helping Beverly out with the bathroom. I asked her, "how the hell does this even happen?"
"I'm honestly not sure how exactly but there were voices in my drain, I tried to see what was happening and ended up getting tied up by these hair type things and then blood gushed out. It went through all the drains somehow."
"That sounds like a major science fiction type of book," I said.
"I-I-It really d-does," Bill said in response.
"Yeah. A disgusting science fiction book," Eddie spoke up.
"Well clearly parts would be from the horror genre. It's like dystopian almost," I said, cleaning part of the sink.
"What kind of books do you read, Y/N," Ben asked.
"Every genre really. Betty and I were actually reading 1984 together," I said and looked down, trying to focus more on the blood than on Betty.
"I'm sorry, Y/N," Beverly said, "losing someone so close must hurt so much."
"It really does," I said then looked towards Bill, "I'm not the only one going through this though. It's just... different."
"C-C-Can we f-focus on s-something d-d-different," Bill asked. We ended up not talking about anything else for the rest of the time. Some of our group ended up going into the hallway, probably to get away from the sea of red. Stan, Eddie, and I stayed in the bathroom for a bit.
"I'm surprised you stayed in the bathroom for this long," I said, looking over at Eddie.
"Me too," Stan said, "you're such a hypochondriac."
"Leave me alone, you two. I'm just here trying to help a friend," Eddie said.
Ben ended up coming back into the bathroom and looked at us, "what are you guys talking about?"
"Eddie being crazy," Stan said with a laugh.
"We should probably leave soon," I said, "you guys at least should. We don't want Beverly's dad to kill us or something."
"Hey guys," Beverly then called out, "we're pretty much done here, let's go find Richie."
We all went out to the hallway and followed her back outside. We made our way back down to where Richie was and he decided to make a smartass comment.
"Y'know, I love being your personal doorman, really. Could you idiots have taken any longer?"
We told him to shut and he ended up deciding to make another smartass comment, that I ignored.
"Hey! I wasn't the one scrubbing the bathroom floor and imagining the sink went all Eddie's mom's vagina on Halloween."
"You're disgusting, Richie," I told him then looked towards Bill since he said that he saw something too.
"You saw blood too," Stan asked.
"Not blood, I saw... G-G-Georgie. It seemed so r-real. I mean, it seemed like him but there was a-."
"A clown," Eddie said, "yeah I saw him too."
Everyone else said they saw the clown, I didn't say anything and Richie didn't say something about seeing it.
"Wait, can only virgins see this stuff? Is that why we're not seeing this shit?"
"I never said I didn't see anything," I said aloud.
"What did you see," Richie asked confused.
"It was a dream. Like a literal dream that I woke up from. I ended up waking up screaming and crying but that's beside the point. I ended up seeing Betty," I said then looked down, "she ended up turning into these spiders and then everything went black. Like I was in a dark room. Then when I could see the room I was in, I noticed that the room I was in was dirty and breaking down, wallpaper peeling."
"Was that all you saw," Stan asked.
"No," I said coldly while looking at him, "I saw Eddie too. He was acting like a monster. He ended up turning into a clown right in front of me. That's when I woke up. I was terrified."
"Holy shit, Y/N," Richie called out, "that's freakier than what they saw! And yours was just a fucking dream!"
"I-I-I think y-you're right Richie," Bill said as he looked at me, "t-t-that's f-f-freakier t-than me seeing Georgie."
"Damn, that says a lot," Stan said.
"Oh, I know," I said, "I wish I never saw that."
After I said that we ended up biking away from Beverly's house and to the streets. After a while of biking, we heard some yelling.
"Oh shit. That's Belch Huggin's car! We should probably get out of here."
"Wait. Isn't that the homeschool kids bike?"
