FIFTY FOUR

Its been about a month since me and Kacchan started to adjust to the new school. A lot of people like him, he's even joined the basketball team after he showed off his street ball moves to them.

Now I'm starting to feel like a loner, an outsider. People are always surprised to find out we're childhood friends, apparently I don't look like his 'type of people' what ever that means. I don't get it, what so different about me?

I mean it's what ever, it's not like I came to make friends anyways. I came for an education, to become a lawyer. And Kacchan, well he just came to keep an eye out on me, as usual. I worked my way up the stairs, struggling to hold the new books I've gotten for class.

Normally Kacchan would help me as he was the strong one, but he wasn't here. He was at practice, luckily I managed to survive. I sighed setting the books down in my dorm. I was sprawled on the floor panting after all that work, and then there was a knock.

"Oh come on, I just laid down" I whined as I got up on my feet and went to the door opening it up seeing nobody but a vase of roses on the ground. I looked at it then looked around seeing if anyone was near but the halls were empty.

I took the flowers in and set them on the table searching around for a card until I found it. I opened it up and started to read the written words

It's been almost two months since we've seen each other. Each night I sit out with a drink in my hand staring up at the moon talking about you and wishing for you back.

I miss seeing your eyes, that pouting face of yours and I miss that pretty face of yours. You may not believe me but I really do think you're gorgeous, I was horrible when we met, said somethings I shouldn't have.

Now here I am wishing for you to come back to me, I know you said you didn't love me but I hope one day I can change that, make you love me as much as I love you

I stayed silent reading the card over and cover again until I closed it placing it down on the table. How did he find me...this school was completely far from the area we live in, I never said a word to him or Shoto. I looked back at the roses, touching them with my hands.
They were pink, just like the ones he gave me the day he took me out of the hospital. The day he became a better man..

The next morning I was woken up by Kacchan who pressed his feet under my mattress pushing me up and down. "Wakey wakey nerd!" He said with a laugh "it's too early..." I mumbled as I covered my head with a pillow.

"Yeah well, you already know I wake up early. By the way, who brought you those flowers? Started talking to anyone new?" He said teasingly. I immediately sat up in bed but was met with a bump in the head by ceiling.

"Ha! Loser!" "Shit...I don't know who gave me those, they were just there" I lied as I rubbed my eyes, yawning and stretching my arms out. "Looks like someone's crushing on you then" he said teasingly while bumping his elbow on me.

I looked at him weird and walked away, "did you make breakfast?" I asked as I entered the small kitchen looking around for something to eat "nah, there wasn't anything to make" "I can tell, I'm gonna buy something from the cafe you want anything?" "Yeah just get me an orange juice and those stuffed bagel bites" "okay, I'll be back"

I walked down the streets making my way to the tiny cafe that was down the block. When I got there I was greeted by the workers who took my order "okay that will be 14:75"  I reached into my pocket about to take the money out until a voice caught me off a guard.

"I'll pay for that" I looked back seeing Touya who pulled some cash out of his wallet handing it to the woman. He smiled at me pretending as if he didn't just scare the shit out of me, I walked out of the line and sat a table.

Of course he came and followed after me "You got my flowers princess?" He asked as he sat by me "mhm...I did..." "did you like them?" "Yup...I was very surprised, I didn't think you'd find me"  I kept my eyes away from him, making sure to not look at him.

He let out a heavy sigh and stood up "I'm trying my best Izuku" "for what?" "To win you back, I miss you. Love you, don't you miss me?" I stayed quiet keeping my head low "I don't know..."

"Come on Izuku, don't you have any type of feelings for me?" "Not even after the night we had together?" I smiled nervously feeling my face heat up as my mind went back to the time we first slept with each other after he brought it up. "I have to go, school is about to start"

I got up and grabbed the bag of food from the counter walking out of the cafe. He followed after me and walked by my side until he stopped me "one date, let me take you out on one date" he said putting one finger up as he looked at me with desperate eyes.

"We're not meant to be together Touya, we'll get in trouble, maybe even killed-" "I don't care, I don't care if I spent my last moments dying next to you. It's you that I want, you that I love" "please...let me love you Izuku.."
