A/N: OH MY GOSH! My exams are officially over until the end of next semester! They were actually quite easy and I NAILED the English one in ten minutes flat! The end of term holidays are coming soon! Two weeks off from school! YES! Yay, do you know what this means? More updates XD! Hurray!
Well, I live in Australia and our school years are a little different than others. Instead of having one big holiday and the school the rest of the year, we have four eleven week terms in a year and when a term ends, we get two weeks off. So soon enough, you can expect many more chapters! XD

I lay on a sheet of cardboard that was put outside of a weaponry store along the filthy streets of Tortuga. Yes, I was still in Tortuga, wasting my life just sitting and waiting for nothing in particular. I suppose I was just hoping that something interesting would happen. It had been many hours since I'd met Teague, Jack's father, and that was the only interesting encounter in the past few days. I was hoping terribly for something to happen, positive or not.
I finally sighed and stood up, brushing myself off. I strutted down the damp streets in search of something intriguing. Walking for a few minutes and searching in hope of someone who might interest me, I eagerly glanced around the at the stores. And that's when I saw him.
My eyes widened like two wide saucers as I spotted the person I wanted to get rid of most in this world.
It was Jack, Jack Sparrow. Jack Sparrow had finally made it to Tortuga in hopes of finding a crew. And had just been slapped the hell out of two girls. Who were they?
I sniggered at Jack's stunned expression but soon came to realise that two other girls despised hm just as much as me. He'd probably betrayed them too. Huh. Womaniser. Well, I had decided that I would also make an entrance.
With my ears fuming, I stormed my way over to Jack. I only just noticed the handsome young man standing next to him. He had pretty brown eyes and dark hair. His skin was quite tan and he looked a little... Innocent, yes, that's the word. I merely spared him a glance before finally turning to Jack. He looked up and his face immediately became nervous.
He anxiously smiled and said as if we were good friends, "Ah, Ani, long time no-"
I slapped his face as hard as I could, just like the other girls, getting all my fury out on his 'delicate' features (note the sarcasm).
Huh, three slaps in one day! No, even worse; in three minutes!
"You filthy little cockroach!" I snarled.
The young man standing next to Jack chuckled, his face holding amusement.
"I suppose you didn't deserve that?" He asked with a smirk.
Jack shook his head and muttered, "Nuh, I kind of deserved that one."
I crossed my arms from holding back my fury and my ears turned red.
"Like hell you did! You betrayed me like a coward and left me with the King's Navy to be executed!" I roared angrily.
Jack smiled as if it didn't matter and swayed on his feet dramatically. He leaned in and came close enough to my face that I could smell his rum-smelling breath. I grimaced and tried not to hold my nose... Not that I didn't like the smell of rum... It was only because it was coming from HIM.
"I was coming back to find you, love..." He muttered and glanced at me anxiously with a nervous but sarcastic smile.
My eyes fluttered and Jack smirked. I suddenly smirked back and slapped his face again. A grin found its way on my face but I let it disappear when I realised how furious I really was about the situation.
"Don't lie to me, you have no right, you cowardly... horrid pirate!" I growled and turned to the young man who was now sniggering at Jack's stunned face.
"And you are?" I asked rudely.
He looked me up and down before answering, "Will Turner."
I stared. Will Turner? Bootstrap Bill? Him? I finally cracked a smile.
"You're funny. You? Huh! I've met the man himself, so how could someone like you possibly be Will Turner?" I sniggered.
The boy looked gave me a look and he answered strongly, "I'm his son."
I stared again, inspecting him from head to toe. He wasn't joking?
"You know, he kinda does look like Bootstrap. When he was young, of course." I muttered.
It was quiet as they both waited for my proper response. I finally uncrossed my arms and put them on my hips.
"Alright, then! I have decided that I believe you, Mr. Turner." I smirked at Will who shrugged and simply stared unknowingly.
Jack cleared his throat and I looked at him with a pointed glare. I pointed straight at his face with an angry finger.
"And you! You pest, how dare you even be in my presence!" I roared, fuming.
Jack smiled sarcastically.
"Technically, you came to me-"
I slapped his face a third time, cutting him off and getting the best pleasure I had ever gotten out of injuring someone.
"Argh, stop that! Use some logic, lass!" He shouted, holding his face.
"And do you think I give a damn about logic? It doesn't seem like you had any, just running off like that, even when I called your name!" I turned away with a snarl and smiled at Will.
He smiled back as I held out my hand for him. He took it hesitantly and I grinned as we shook hands. Nice boy, he was.
"Uh, would it help if I..." Jack started and I glared my hardest at him as he thought, "If I reconsidered my actions and apologised... Sincerely?"
I stared with burning eyes that might have parched holes into Jack's skin if they were really on fire. He was asking if he could reconsider leaving me to die?
"Hm..." I said, putting a hand on my chin as if in deep thought, "No, Captain. You'll have to beg me if you want me in your nasty crew."
Jack stared for a moment before turning away and storming off. Before he could even take three steps, I held up a rusty-looking compass. His compass.
"Well, then... I suppose you don't want your compass back..." I casually swung it around like it was worth nothing.
Jack paused and span around, his face holding a business-type look.
"Ah, mate. You haven't considered your options! That, love, wasn't one to begin with." He told me, waving a finger as if he were pointing something out, which he was.
I ignored him and held the compass closer to my face to inspect its delicately created cover.
"Oh, no. I simply borrowed it. Seems like you don't exactly know what you want, meaning you don't need it at the moment." I sniggered at Jack who gave me a stunned look and stepped closer to me in a threatening stance.
"Jack, do not be so ungentle with the lady." Scolded Will.
Jack ignored him and his eyes stared deeply into mine, sending shivers down my spine. It was like he was staring straight into the window to my soul.
"That boy is a smart one, no doubt." I smiled at Jack but then pouted, "I am a lady, after all."
"Rule number 4?" He suddenly asked.
I gave him a puzzled look.
"Rule... What?"
He leaned closer and answered his own question, "Rule number 4: Never steal from Cap'n Jack Sparrow."
I stared at him and my eyes flashed in amusement. I squeezed the compass tighter in my hand.
"And since when did I follow your rules, hm?" I asked with a sly grin.
Jack and I both stepped away from each other. I waved his compass around again.
"All you have to do is beg."
Jack stared. He was simply too stubborn, a characteristic I hated about him completely.
"Fine, if you won't beg me, then I'll make another deal. If I join your crew, it'll mean you get your ship back and I will get that girl's medallion." I suggested.
Jack stared for a moment, thinking, before holding out his hand.
"Well, I've made up me mind! I shall agree to abide by the rules, make to deal and hand you over the medallion when we get a hold of it! Savvy?" He smirked at me.
I nodded and handed back his compass. He stared at it gratefully and put it away gingerly. We looked each other in the eye before each holding out our hands, shaking them in agreement.
"Deal." I smiled.
