To say I was wasted last night was an understatement and I realized it when I woke up with a pounding headache and lay under someone else's sheets.
I dared not open my eyes because beyond a shadow of a doubt I knew Harry laid beside me. I barely remember stumbling in his apartment and after that it was just blank.
Maybe if I got up and left before he wakes up he'd forget I was ever here.I get up slowly trying not to stir him, my shirt is tossed on the ground but my shoes are next to the door. As I slip them on I hear a groggy voice from the other room. "Louis?" I don't answer. I hear him mumbling and then he's talking to himself, "Shouldn't have went." His voice fades as he walks toward the other room but grows louder, "just another runaway."
I hear as he sits back down on the bed and I should have done left but I can't. I slip my shoes back off and walk down the short hallway. If only I could ignore the screaming voices in my head leave!
I pop my head around the corner of the door and look at the taller boy stretched across his bed, palms pressed to his head.
"Hey." I whisper and for a second I think he hasn't heard me but then his body is raising up and a smile is across his face.
"I thought you had left." I couldn't say I had almost left so I told a little white lie.
"Nope was just waiting for you to get up, hope that's okay?" He seems more surprised and excited then I could have imagined.
"No it's fine!"he got off the bed and started walking towards me,"Are you hungry? Do you want to get some breakfast?" He was obviously nervous but for what reason it don't know. I look at my phone to see the time.
"I think it may be a bit to late to get breakfast maybe a late lunch if we hurry." He looks at me from across the room.
"What time is it?"
"A little after two."
Harry's demeanor changes, "Shit!"he grabs a shirt up, "actually I have to take a rain check I forgot I had an appointment." He grabs a brush and a hair tie, before fixing his hair in the bun.
"Oh I uhm I guess I'll call you later."I got to my apartment and laid on my couch why was I getting so involved maybe I should push myself back. So I do what I think I must do. I pick up my phone knowing what I was doing was going to hurt.
His phone rings and his voicemail comes on, you have to louis you'll both be better off.
"Hey it's Louis I was just calling because I needed to talk to you, but since you aren't answering I guess I'll just say it..." JUST SAY IT! "I can't do this I'm sorry I've wasted your time. Goodbye Harry."
