Chapter 7 ✭I Hate Spiders✭

It had been a little over a week since Y/n transferred into Jujutsu High and she still hadn't gotten used to waking up early.

Throughout the week she has set multiple alarms and she almost always sleeps through all of them. She even tried having Toge call her phone to wake her in the morning, but that didn't work either. The only thing that woke her up today was the feeling of something tickling her forehead.

'Huh?'

Y/n slowly opened her eyes as she felt a strange sensation above her brow. Maybe it was just her bangs. Y/n pushed her messy bangs from her forehead as she sat up. With sleep filled eyes she saw a black speck fall from under her hand and onto her comforter.

'What the-'

It took a moment for Y/n's eyes to focus on the wobbly dot on her bed, but when they did she saw that it was big, black, and had eight long legs. Y/n felt like her heart stopped.

"AHHH A SPIDER! WHAT THE HELL!" Y/n yelled, she flailed her arms as she fell backwards off her bed. She hit the carpet floor with a loud thump.

"Ow that hurt." Y/n whined, she got up and rubbed her sore behind.

She started to frantically search the messy floor for something to kill the spider.

'Now where's my shoe?'

Y/n found one of her bunny slippers that was under her bed. She jumped up with the slipper in hand as she prepared to slay the 'savage beast' only to find that it was no longer there.

Y/n stripped her entire bed bare only for the spider to be nowhere in sight. She was left with an unmade bed and a bad case of bed head.

While Y/n was battling the spider, the rest of the students were already down stairs. Maki, Panda, and Yuta were in the hallway watching Inumaki as he watered the colorful flowers in the garden.

"Toge has been able to use cursed speech since birth. He's been through a lot. Cursing people by accident and such." Panda explained as he looked out the window.

"You two are similar in that sense. He's been thinking of how to help you since you got here." Panda added, he turned his attention to Yuta. "He's a great guy, just misunderstood. Please be nice to him, okay?"

Yuta still didn't understand the logic behind having a talking Panda for a classmate. He'd have to ask Gojo about that later. He was glad that he was starting to understand Inumaki more.

Yuta drew his attention from the window to look at Panda as he spoke. "Of course I'm the one-" Yuta started before he felt a familiar wooden weapon whack the back of his head. Yuta turned around to see it was Maki's staff.

Yuta still couldn't tell if Maki still hated him or not. She almost always seemed annoyed by him.

Maki walked past the boy, she had the same annoyed look on her face as always. "C'mon! It's time for training!"

"Oh. Right." Yuta huffed as he rubbed the knot that was forming on the back of his head. The interaction caused Panda to erupt with obnoxious laughter.

Maki stopped walking and turned to the oversized stuffed animal. "Stop laughing, Panda or I'm gonna kill ya!"
