After the students left the building, the children were taken to a nearby hospital for thorough treatment. Their worried parents delivered a long, stern lecture to them. Yuta had already settled into the car, observing the unfolding events outside.
Y/n stood before Gojo, arms crossed and lips tight with a deep frown. The innocent expression on his face only fueled her anger. "I don't recall signing up to be an exterminator."
Gojo, with a smile, opened the backseat door. "So, does this mean you've overcome your crippling fear of spiders?"
The man rarely played the role of a 'gentleman,' Y/n wasted no time and hopped into the car. She sat there for a moment, her sensei's words sinking in. Suddenly, she gasped in surprise. "Wait, you knew there were spiders in there? I knew it! How could you—"
Gojo promptly shut the door in her face, grinning. He walked around to the passenger side, opened the door, and got in. "That's what you get for rudely hanging up on me," he quipped, fastening his seatbelt.
"So that's what this is about. Are you serious? That was like a whole week ago!" Y/n practically lunged toward the front seat, her arms brought forward in a choking motion. However, her seatbelt held her back.
Yuta cautiously observed Y/n from the corner of his eye, making another mental note: 'If I don't want to get strangled, possibly, don't make her angry.'
After Y/n's relentless barrage of insults directed at none other than Gojo-sensei, she finally succumbed to sleep. Her head rested haphazardly on the car window, soft, even breaths escaped her lips. Yuta contemplated following suit; after all, there was an hour-long drive back to the school.
Gojo broke the silence. "You two did well."
Yuta's gaze dropped to the floor, still not confident in his actions today. "Thank you, Sensei."
Gojo leaned back, his eyes glinting with mischief. "I overheard this morning that you wanted some help with imbuing cursed energy into a blade." He gestured toward the slumbering Y/n with his thumb. "I think it would be a good idea to ask Y/n. She'd be more than willing to help, I'm sure."
Yuta's head snapped up, surprise and curiosity etched across his face. How could he have possibly heard him earlier?

It had been almost a week since that annoying "mission". Fortunately, Y/n gained the ability not to oversleep. Well...not willingly at least. She had been waking up earlier due to the not-so-pleasant dreams that followed. The memories clung to her like cobwebs, refusing to let go. She really hated spiders.
Since she was already awake, Y/n decided to get up and head to training earlier. The room was dim, the early morning light filtered through the curtains. Y/n reluctantly emerged from the embrace of her cozy blankets, the wooden floor felt cold under her feet.
The girl walked over to her nightstand and opened the top drawer, her outstretched hand traced through its contents. She pulled out two amber-colored bottles and frowned.
'I only have enough here to last me a couple more weeks. Perhaps coming here on such short notice wasn't a very good idea.'
The girl twisted off the white caps and shook out a tablet from each. She reached for her bottle of water, which she always kept near her bed, and swallowed the two white capsules with ease. Y/n grabbed a small device from the drawer as well, her eyes narrowed as she observed its plastic red cover.
