Rhenee tumbled out of the way as she looked up to see dark dragon they call The Cannibal. The large dark beast spits his fire out trying to catch her off guard.

Rhenee heart raced as she did her best to scramble away from his hot flames. She reached over towards a a large stone and tossed it at his head hoping it be enough to stop the large beast from taking her.

Out of all dragons Rhenee never got close to him. She knew the danger of him as he's not been claimed once over the years and was never once rode by a rider.

"Fucking hell," she groans and hides behind a large stone as he spits fire once more. "Why is he on this side of the hill?" She mumbles.

The Cannibal never left the east side of the hill since his cave was somewhat around there. She threw another rock to only hit his eye and he lets out a loud roar that shook the ground beneath her feet.

He started to take charge towards her as she groans as he made his way towards her and takes she out her dragon blade ready to fight back and prepares for death.

Another roar comes as flames hit the beast from the sky making her look up to see a shadow cascaded amongst the clouds. The Cannibal looked to the sky and growled then lets out a high pitched roar once more as he is hit in the face with more flames.

"Princess!" She turned to see guards and Daemon coming to her side and try to drag her away.

"Wait–"

A loud roar came about making everyone freeze in their place and Daemon knew it was a dragon who was amongst the sky.

The sound of the large wings flapping the wind towards them as the dragon came out the clouds as it's scales are sliver with the blue belly undertones. It lands on the hill shaking its head towards The Cannibal as it was trying to upsize it but it seemed the black dragon didn't want to fight and soon took away.

"Silverwing." Daemon says.

"He protected me."

"It's a she. Silverwing seems she has chosen you. Bond quickly." He orders his stepdaughter.

Rhenee looked towards the beast. "Silverwing, rȳbagon... sagon gīda...obey." She says with a hand out walking towards her.*Silverwing, listen...be calm...obey.*

The dragon placed her head down lower to let the princess touch her snout and purred letting it's lips curl back showing it's sharp teeth. Rhenee smiled proudly as she pets her now bonded dragon as she feels her emotions already as if they are one.

"Mount her and fly." Daemon says as he motions the guards to stand back. "Make the bond stronger and fly."

Rhenee looked up towards Silverwing and let's her hands run down her scales on her neck then used her wings to climes up onto her back. She didn't have a saddle or reins to hold onto but adrenaline seemed to high she didn't care and held onto Silverwing horns.

"Sōvegon!" *fly*

And within a second the larger dragon turned he body around and ran towards the edge of the cliff as her wings expanded and clapped as she got a running start. Right as the dragon reached the edge she fell straight down with wings closed and right before they can hit the salt water she expanded her large wings and took flight. She flys up into the clouds roaring loudly as Rhenee laughed in happiness as she clings to her dragon.

"Sōvegon eglikta!" *fly higher!*

Silverwing obeys as reached the edges of the  clouds. Rhenee let both hands let go of her horns and let her arms reach the sky as the wind moved through her hair, loving the warmth of the sun with eyes closed trusting her dragon. She can feel the calmness of Silverwing as she flew through more clouds.

"Kirimvose syt choosing issa! Ao issi forever isse issa gēlȳn." She pats her dragon and placed a kiss upon the warmth of her scales. * Thank you for choosing me! You are forever in my debt.*

Rhenee orders Silverwing to take her back home and the beast did what she was told.

Rhenee can look over the ocean and see her home sitting on the stone island as she got a good view and spotted her brothers and mother standing next to Daemon with smiles.

Landing was a bit rough but she was full of adrenaline she didn't care and slides off her dragon as she ordered her to go fly. "Mother, I finally have a dragon!"

"Daemon has told me. We will get the dragons keeper to make a saddle for her as quickly as possible. Now child go bath you smell of dragon."

The smile on her daughters face never left and she was proud of her for finally getting one. It would be a special bond between the two as Daemon informs Rhaenyra that Silverwing had chosen her. "Prepare for her to leave everyday to ride the dragon." He says with his hand in her belly.

"I know. Now that she has a dragon after all these years  we should allow her to enjoy the moment."

——

The next day Rhenee rushed out of bed this morning and outside the castle and called to her dragon who quickly came down from the sky letting out her roar. "Easy hāedar, easy." She mumbled. *Easy girl, easy.*

"We must get you to the dragon keeper to get you a saddle for me so I can ride you. I got my thighs bruised from flying you yesterday." She speaks softly to her dragon. "Let's walk."

She walked forward towards the cave where the dragon keepers kept her family's dragons at night. Reaching the two men they instantly bow their heads and commanded the dragon to enter the cave so they can prepare her for flight. "Go on." She pats Silverwing by the neck as her dragon does what she's told.

"Sister!" Luke calls out making her turn towards her brother. "Shall we fly together?"

"Hmm, not sure maybe in the late afternoon they are measuring Silverwing for a saddle."

Luke looked over to the silver dragon as the two dragon keepers threw a rope over her and tied it under her belly while marking it. "Seems it might take awhile before taking flight."

"She's not small like yours so I might have mother send a raven that we need leather from Kings Landing or something."

"Princess," a dragon keeper says. "My I measure you?" Rhenee agreed.

"Have you practiced your High Valyrian?"

Luke nods. "Of course, I think I sound better than yesterday. Will you help me study? Jace is busy learning with the maester."

"And why don't you join them?"

"Honestly sister, your pronunciation is much better than his." He chuckles nervously as he expected Jace to be behind him. "Please don't tell him I said that."

Rhenee smiled. "Your secret is safe brother." She ruffled his brown hair. "Besides I know my Valyrian is much better than Jace."

———

Rhenee had practice with Luke in the study hall of their castle as he was getting much better than Jace. She dismissed her brother to prepare for lunch as she goes to her chambers and sat by the windowsill and looked out into the horizon wondering.

She had wonder what Aemond would think of her now that she had grown into a woman who now has a dragon after so many years. She also wondered what made him write to her mother for a marriage proposal? Was it Alicent doing to have him marry her and pursue her to change her feelings towards her mother and take the Hightower side?

Maybe he's accepted her apologies and wanted to see her after all these years?

Whatever seems the case to be she was willing to talk to him about everything that happened as children cause she truly did love her uncle.

She wanted to imagine that he's a grown man with a built body and sharp facial features and his hair probably still long or maybe short? She didn't mind what he looked like, she knew he be handsome and probably graceful if he wanted marriage.

Rhenee looked towards the sky and smiled as she watched her dragon fly freely along side Syrax and Vermax. She wished everyone in her family were like them, carefree.

"Oh Aemond, skoros emagon ao gaomagon naejot issa prūmia." *Oh Aemond, what have you done to my heart.*
