Chapter eight Skeleton key: Creepy mayor
"Bite me!"
3rd person pov;
At Pigsy's Noodles, [Name] was sitting boredly besides MK, their back resting at the table behind them as they watch The 'Mayor' speaks from a small podium with Mei, MK, Pigsy, and Mr, Tang.
"Thank you for this amazing turnout." The Mayor said raising a key, [Name] squinted their eye suspiciously. "Woo-hoo! Let's hear it for Monkie Kid! Hero of the city!" Mei cheered.
"As mayor, I hereby give Monkie Kid the key to our fair city." He said turning to MK and giving him the key. MK grin excitedly, when the key was in his hold he froze in his spot. [Name] felt a shive run down their spine, "Um, uh, what does this key do, exactly?" MK asked looking at the Mayor who was staring at him.
"Oh, you'll love this. It has the power to open anything!" He explained. Mei jump in front of him, "Ooh, anything? Like a pet shop full of puppies?" She asked excitedly.
The Mayor smile darkly and [Name] could swear they can see some blue mist from behind him, "Yes. Or the door to a lion's cage, or an orphan's piggy bank, an imprisoned mystic power source. Whatever you like!" The Mayor said, his mood changing immediately. [Name] scoffed making the Mayor turn to them creepingly before turning back to MK.
"Today, you can do no wrong. You've got my permission. 'Cause I'm the mayor!" He laughed menacingly before disappearing to a blue smoke.
"Huh. I'm starting to think, that's maybe not the mayor." Mei said. [Name] look at her with a blank face, "You think?" The two then turn to MK who was staring at the key on his hand, "Wow. A key that can open anything."
MK and Mei look at each other excitedly and immediately dashed off, "Nope. I'm not dealing with this today." [Name] said. They stood up and went to do their chores.

[Name] was carrying a basket of clothes. It was their time to do the laundry, they put the basket down with a huffed. They used their Absolute Solver to carry the basket of laundry as they made their way toward MK room.
Their eyes twitched in annoyance when they saw how messy his room is. They huffed and make their way toward his bathroom. [Name] heard the door slam open making them flinched, they walk out of the bathroom to see Redson scanning the room with a disgusted look.
Redson felt someone looking at him and when he turn around he came face to face with [Name]. There was a moment of awkward silence before Redson scoffed, "Oh. It's the midget."
[Name] shook their head and marched toward Redson, "Bite me! What are you doing here?!" They asked pointing at Redson while glaring up at him.
He scoffed and rolled his eye, "I came here to get the key from that noodle boy." He answered. [Name] glared at him, "I didn't came here to fight....Yet. I have more important things to take care of than wasting it to you peasants." He exclaimed.
[Name] scowl crossing their arm, "Whatever, I'm keeping my eye on you." They said squinting their eye. Redson rolled his eye and sat on the ground with [Name] sitting in front of him.
There was an awkward and tensed atmosphere before Redson spoke, "The AbsoluteSolver power... How did you get it?" He asked. [Name] raise a brow, "And, why do you asked?" They questioned raising an eyebrow.
"Are you kidding me?! AbsoluteSolver is an ancient power. It's very powerful that no mortal or immortal can hold it except for the AbsoluteSolver Demon! Do you even know how dangerous it is?!" He scream slamming his hands on the table and leaning closed to [Name].
[Name] eyebrow furrowed as he pushed his face away, "AbsoluteSolver Demon?" They asked raising a brow, "What do you know? Tell me." They demanded, Redson sigh and sit back up.
"The AbsoluteSolver Demon was a very powerful and dangerous Demon who was part of the sworn brother that almost destroyed the celestial realm. The Jade Emperor himself have to fight just to destroy the AbsoluteSolver Demon. It was said that the AbsoluteSolver Demin is long gone along with it's power, since the only AbsoluteSolver Demon doesn't have any family or anyone related to them, so it was said through history that their kinds is instinct..... Or so we thought."
He eyed [Name] who was listening to his story, "And how did you know all of this?" [Name] asked squinting his eye suspiciously, "Because my father had met the AbsoluteSolver Demon." He commented. [Name] eye widen, "Wait really?" They asked tilting their head, "Yes, like I said, The AbsoluteSolver Demon was part of the sworn brother."
[Name] was about to asked something when they heard Mei and MK laughter, "Finally!" Redson stood up and approach the balcony.
A burst of flame blows a hole through the front of MK's apartment, from the smoke Redson step out. [Name] cough as they tried to get rid of the smoke, "Noodle boy, finally!" They heard Redson scream.
"What are you doing in MK's house!?" They heard Mei shouted.
"You better not have touched my stuff!" MK added.
"Do you know how long I've been waiting here for you? Your house is… depressing. I almost feel bad taking things from you, buuut I'm going to need that magic key." He uses his fire powers to grab the Skeleton Key.
"Yoink! So long, noodle boy!" He jump down the apartment, [Name] ran towards the hole of the apartment looking at the scenes.
"Oh no, the key!" MK shouted. Mei whistles, summoning her bike and speeding after Redson's Inferno Truck. MK try to get on but Mei already sped off, "Wait for me! No, Mei it's all good. I definitely don't want a ride." He said sarcastically as he pulls the staff from his ear, "It's totally fine..."
[Name] watched him leave with his staff to speed him off. They look down at their feet putting a hand on their chin.
