After coming back from Veer's house, we all left for our rooms without any conversation about the dinner. Even during the whole car ride everyone talked about random things but left the elephant of the room out of topic.
I know that Bhai and KP wanted to give me time as they were already well aware of how overwhelming the dinner was for me. That is the only reason that after trying too many times still there was no sight of sleep in my eyes.
Finally being tired of trying for the sleep from last 2 hours I finally gave up and left my room to find something that could calm my racing mind.
Leaving the back door of the house, I came into the backyard and sat on the swing we had here.

The night was very beautiful tonight with a full moon and so many stars. There was a very calm silence with low winds which gave me the peace I had been searching for so desperately for the last few hours.
I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't even hear that the back door had been closed and someone was also there now. When the cup of hot masala chai (tea) was in front of my eyes I came back from my dreamland.

There is no specific reason why I love Kalpana but it is just that we just clicked together. She never judged me on anything and has been standing with me for as long as I remember like an older sister. After my mother died she took her place in my life.
