Priya P.O.V

I am getting married to whom now? I turned my face towards Armaan with such force that I swear I felt I just got whiplash.

Ignoring my shocked impression and the heart attack he just gave he again opened his mouth.
"Oh this is perfect my best friends are going to get married"

I turned towards KP who was trying to understand what was going on here. At this moment I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me.

Deep breath Priya Deep Breath.

I felt a small tug on my hand which made me look at Ruhi. She was signing me to come close to her height thus I bent a little and asked her, "What happened Baby?"

Not at all noticing the tension in the room she just pouted towards me, " I am hungry Piyu."

Which according to her was a whisper to me was something that everyone heard. Looking adorably towards Ruhi, Maya aunty told everyone to move toward dining room.

Everyone sat on the 10-sitter dinner table in a way that Mihar's Uncle was on the head chair and his right was Aunty, then Pari, then Maan, and lastly Veer.
On his left side sat Bhai, then KP, then Ruhi, and lastly me. Armaan was sitting on another head chair between me and Veer.

Why the hell he is sitting in front of me? And why is looking at me like I am going to disappear soon?

Soon the Food was served by the maids and let me tell it was so much food. It was almost like we were celebrating a function at this moment. Maya Aunty put her best efforts into this dinner.

After the food was served everyone started eating

After the food was served everyone started eating.
Maya Aunty gave a look towards me and Veer and asked,
"So it seems you all know each other."
It was not a question but a statement

But before I can reply to her, Veer cuts me off
"I used to know her"
Dam it hurt like a bitch. He said in the past tense like he don't know me anymore.

Taking a deep breath I looked towards the aunty,
"I have known Armaan and Vanya from nursery class. We grew up together whereas I met Veer in college my first year."

"I have no idea why he has not snapped once with her calling him Veer. If it had been me I have already been 6 feet down" Maan muttered to himself but I heard it as we sat close.

I think Veer and Armaan also heard it as Veer gave him a death stare to which he gave him a nervous smile and here Armaan was smiling like he won an award or something.

"But you said you completed your Bachelor's from Delhi then how come you met them here in Udaipur".
Maan looked interested in knowing now.

This is the topic I don't want to talk about or want to avoid as much as I can Because replying to him leads to more questions to which I am not ready to talk.
