After hearing Priya's voice I snapped my head towards her and there she was sitting in front of me with moist eyes.
I yanked my hands from her hands and saw the hurt which crossed her eyes but I kept my face neutral and asked her " What are you doing here? Don't you have a wedding to do?"
"Veer" she started to say something which I interpreted and said
"Rajveer.. Hamara naam Rajveer hai"
"Let me explain Veer" She again tried to say something and I again interpreted her
" Just answer my one question. Only one." She nodded her head in answer
" Did he force you to sign the divorce paper ?" I so desperately want her to say yes but her answer just broke me.
" No, I signed it myself," she said with a heavy voice
I just chuckled and shook my head
" You know I thought of many things for us but what I never thought was that my Priya, my queen would break my heart. You broke me" I said to her while looking into her eyes which were now flowing with tears.
It will be a lie when I say that I don't feel weak after looking at her or her tears but now I don't have the energy to deal with it all. She chose him and I'll let her go to him.
" Veer, at least listen to me once"
" I don't want to Priya.. you are free from my side. You are free to marry whoever you want."
" No, Veer it's not like this"
After saying this she started crying more.
"Gam tho bas es baat ka hai jaaneman. ki jis insaan ko humne apne zindagi banaya use ne hamare zindagi tabah kar di"

After saying this I stood up to leave the table but Priya's next words made me freeze in my place
" I am pregnant Veer"
I slowly digested her words and looked at her who was looking at me with red eyes and a nose.
Slowly she forwarded her hand towards me and after coming out of my shock I kept my hand in her and she brought both hands in contact with her stomach.
"We are pregnant Veer"
I felt numb. I didn't know how to react to the news. Was I happy??
I was freaking happiest man in the world at this moment.
I looked towards her took her in my arms and hugged her tightly to me
"Why are you doing this babe?" I asked her while still keeping her in my arms
"Because I want to end him. I want him to suffer like I suffered because of him. I want to have a safe future for myself, for you, for our child, for us Veer."
I loosened my hold on her and after seeing the question in my eyes she started to explain to me everything which is happening in our life
From his kidnapping her to Faiz's help in getting all the evidence against Vansh Raichand.
" I am almost done with everything Veer. I have all the proof and I am just waiting for the right time to strike."
" But it's not safe for you, Priya. What if he came to know about all this? I can't lose you or our child. Please leave it with me and I'll handle everything. Trust me."
She looked at me deeply and signed and Bought out some pictures from her purse. They were of Ruhi and Kalpana in some room.
" HE has them". She told me with a heavy voice.
