It has been almost 3 months since our wedding and let me tell you it has been the most wonderful months of my life filled with love and laughter.
It is not only Veer who makes me feel love or take care of me but it's his whole family who try to involve me as much as possible in their life by giving me extra attention.
In the last 3 months, I have been going in a pattern like waking up and helping Maa in the kitchen then spending time with Papa in the house. In the evening going on a walk with Maan and helping Pari with her homework daily. Dinner is mostly made by maids or by maa so I just set the table for everyone and at last spend my nights with Veer.
But now it is going to change as I have decided to work as well. It took a lot of courage for me to step out of my comfort zone but I can't stay in the safety of my house forever. Right?
So I have already decided to apply to top Social media companies as I want to be part of social marketing.
I was getting ready for my day when I heard Veer's voice
"Priya..???" He almost sounded angry and when he came in front of me he was surely angry.
The few things I came to know about my husband in the last few months are that he is a person of few words with other people. He doesn't like it when things don't go according to him. He has a different personality outside the house. Almost like he has angry issues when he is in the office.
Almost every person in his office as well as all the maids and helpers in the house are sacred to him.
"Yes Veer," I asked calmly to him
"What is this?" He tried to ask in a calm voice but all his expressions were showing that he was anything but calm.
" Resume Veer. We discussed this I am going to work. Maa and Papa are also supporting me in this and I have an interview today". I said in one breath
He took one step near me and bent to my level. Now we were so close that his breathing was fanning my cheek.
"I told you I'll always support you. You said you want to work. I was there in your decision. You said you don't want to work in my company as you want to explore yourself. Again I supported you whereas it was the last thing I liked but what is this?" He asked me again while showing me the resume
I took a deep breath and brought my hands up and cupped his face in my hands. "Veer I can't mention that I am your wife in the resume. Then all my efforts to achieve my goal without any recommendation were wasted. Please understand."
" I don't like this" he said while taking a step away from me
It broke my heart when he took a step away from me but still, I managed to keep my face neutral.
" You know what. Do whatever you like but I am not liking this condition. You are Priya Rajveer Randhawa, not Priya Sachdeva anymore." After saying his he left the room angrily
Dam he is angry. It's okay I'll make up for this later. First I have to get ready for breakfast.
I wore a normal suit and came downstairs to see everyone was sitting at the dinner table but Maa was missing.
I came and sat between Veer and Maan while Papa was sitting on the head chair and Pari was opposite Papa and in another head chair.
"Why is your husband in a beast mood today?" Maan asked me while elbowing me
"He saw the resume" Maan looked at me with fear
"Please tell me he doesn't know I made the resume?"
"Not yet"
