It started with a Foster Child

chapter 4

Gabi Pov

I was woke up by the horrible sound of my alarm I normally like mornings but not today I hate starting new schools, I just hope that no one finds out I am fostered, every school I have been to I get bullies because I am fostered and I dont think I can cope with been bullied again.

I forced myself out of bed to take a shower, I left my hair down and wavy and applied minimum make up as school are always strict on make up I put on my Locket which I never take off unless showering. once I finished I slipped in my horrible school uniform and grabbed my new jacket Jaymi bought me yesterday and made my way down stairs.

Jaymi , Olly and JJ were all sat in the kitchen with a girl I have never seen before she looked nice with her long brown hair perfectly straight and brown eyes, she was wearing a Geek top and blue skinny jean. I walked across the kitchen and sat down next to Jaymi,

*Hi, Gabi this is my girlfriend Jess * JJ spoke and slowly hugged his girlfriend from the side *Hi Gabi* the girl spoke before turning to kiss JJ. I smiled back and sat down and sipped on my coffee Jaymi passed me, dreading that i have to leave for school in 10 minutes.

*Gabi, if you have any trouble at school today i want you to ring me*

*ok Jaymi im sure i will be fine but i don't have your number* Jaymi giggled as i passed him the phone he typed in his number and pulled me closer to him and i smiled as i saw he was using the camera, he used the picture as the caller ID and passed me the phone back. I looked down at the time i better leave atleast i know where my school is, it is next to the primary school i use to go to.

*Bye everyone, see you later*

*Bye gabi have a good first day dont forget ring one of us if there is any troubles, i put all our numbers in your phone i will come pick you up later* once Jaymi finished speaking he got up and hugged me.

Arriving at school

I walked along the street and soon as i saw the school i gulped and started to make sure that my hair was in place, and my uniform looked ok. I arrived inside the school entrance and everyone stared at me, it was obvious i was new and with it been the middle of the school year, everyone oready had there own social groups. I heard to bell and instantly the corridors were quiet as the classes started, which meant i was late on my first day great. I looked up and used the signs to find the science block.

Once i arrived at the right room i knocked on the door and a man was stood at the front obviously the teacher he looked to the door and smiled. *Morning Gabi, the seating plan means you have to sit over there* i smiled and followed his finger to where there was a empty seat, i walked across the room and sat down next to two boys, the whole seating plan was boy, girl i hate when schools make this rule i think its pointless because you just end up shouting across to your friends. I sat down and the boy to my left totally ignored me, and the boy to my right gave me a smile.

Thoughtout the whole class i was quiet and had no idea what the teacher was going on about so i just zoned out and entered my own world. The blell ringing made me jump a mile it was obviously time for a break, i packed up my pen and walked out the room, i was instantly getting evil looks of many of the girls great i thought to myself. I made my way outside to get away from the busy corridors and sat down in the corner on my own. i checked my phone and jaymi and Olly had text me asking how my day is going so i text them both back *Its going ok so far xx* I placed my phone back into my school bag and sat messing with the locket.

I felt someone sit down next to me so i instantly turned my head to see who it was, it was the boy i was just sat down next to in class *As your new im guessing you dont know anyone* I nodded my head and sighed at the thought that i was totally alone in school

*well im Ash, whats your name, i will help you out around here im pritty new myself* I smiled he was such a nice boy

*Im Gabi and thank you*

*no problem, shell we swap numbers if your new to the area i will show you around*

*im not new to the area i just moved back here but we can still hangout some time* i passed Ash my phone and he put in this number and i did the same in his blackberry. The bell was going which meant i have to go to my next lesson Maths, Ash stood up and offered his hand for me to get up i grabbed it and we both walked side by side to Maths but Ash had a different maths teacher so i was back on my own i made my way into the room and sat in the empty seat at the back by the window.

The rest of the day went really slow and i didn't speak to anyone else and ended up spending break on my own, i was happy to see 3oclock. I quickly packed away my pens that i was using in Art and grabbed my stuff and walked out of school to Jaymi who was waiting in the car, with josh.

*so how was your first day*

*it was ok i guess Jaymi glad its over*

*did you meet any new friends* i instantly thought of Ash he was the only person i had met today but he seemed really nice i cannot wait to see him again and spend time with him outside of school.

*Who was he* Josh spoke and wiggled his eye brows causing me and Jaymi go into fits of giggles

*how did you know it was a He and his names Ash* I whispered

*you blushed when i mentioned you meeting someone new* I felt my cheek's burn up, and the thought of blushing over Ash the rest of the car journey home was pretty quiet Josh and jaymi had there own conversations, i mostly sat on my phone and texted Ash we plan on meeting up at the weekend.

2 hours later

*Gabi, me and Jess are going the cinema do you want come* JJ bellowed upstairs to me

*Are you sure i dont want to interrupt your date*

*its not a date silly, we both want to treat you* i made my way to the top of the stairs with my coats and shoes

*So what are we going to watch*

*Despicable me 2* JJ grinned as i walked down the stairs after slipping on my shoes, JJ grabbed hold of mine and Jess's hand and walked out the door.

The cinema was really good, i really get on well with JJ he reminds me of my old friends. Jess is really nice too a great laugh to be around. I didn't watch much of the movie as JJ got bored so ended up whispering loads of jokes into my ear causing me to giggle and security nearly kicked us out but she stopped when she realised it was JJ, and just told us we need to be quieter, knowing someone who is famous has alot of benefits.
