For the month of July I had the opportunity to interview another underrated author. I’ve read the story as it was ongoing; the chapters were phenomenal I must say. Without further rambling here’s my interview with this talented author where my input is also inserted. Hope you all enjoy.

Q: How did you come up with the title: The Sleeping Princess?
H: I usually just use the first idea that comes in my mind or something that sums up the story.
C: I think most authors do the same.

Q: How did you come up with the idea of this book?
H: I just get ideas from prompts or I read a story and decide to write with Harry Potter characters like 'The Sleeping Princess' and 'Ron And Harry Go To Leaky Cauldron'. I got the idea for my latest story 'Harry-Dementor' from a story I read where dementors raised Harry.
C: Dementors raise Harry? That sounds interesting. I’ll have to read your latest book. It peaks my interest.

Q: What ways did you prepare for each chapter; did you write/type down notes or small ideas?
H: First I write down how I want the story to start and the end. Then I write what certain characters role in the story should be. Then I write down jokes and dialogues in my phone notes and then I start structuring my story and how to get from the start to the end then divide it into chapters of more than 2k words and less than 6k words. I publish my stories only when I know how to reach the end of the story to avoid writers block and abandoning the story.
C: Now that’s something new. I like your thinking; usually I use my notes, first with my description. Then I do my title, characters, notes for each chapter. Lastly I go from there and build on with each chapter.

Q: How long does it take you to do a chapter?
H: It usually takes me about 2 to 3 hours to plan out a chapter.
C: How in the world? I must know your secrets. It takes me hours and hours to write a chapter. I have to proofread it like a hundred times and still I add or delete things out of it. Which is why it takes me hours upon hours to do.
