Hii I'm back and only a week wait this time not three months?!

Chapter 21

I figured it out

Alex's POV

We had talked a little, I told him what had happened with Amelia and I. We were lying next to each other on the bed, so close I could almost kiss him. Instead I wrapped an arm around cuddling him like a teddy bear. He pulled the blankets over us so that the warmth couldn't escape.

I giggled at him, "This is good, yeah?"

"It's great" he smiled and closed his eyes. 

I moved closer and kissed him chastely on his lips. He didn't push for more but he was grinning I could see.

We stayed in silence for a couple minutes, he wasn't sleeping but he didn't open his eyes either. He was thinking about something. 

"Alex, um I've wanted to ask you for a while if you'd um maybe want to possibly go out with me?" his eyes were squeezed shut obviously nervous.

I brushed a hand gently down his cheek, "Of course Z, I'd like that".

He opened his eyes and they were twinkling, almost like the night sky that was outside the window. 

He giggled, kissing me again on the lips.

"It'll be great, I promise"

I nodded, it was always great when I was with him. We fell asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning when we woke up, the sun was shining bright and it looked like it was going to a great day. I shook him carefully until he was blinking his eyes open. He was groaning about how tired he was. I rolled my eyes fondly.

I got out of bed and tried to find my things, my phone and wallet was in my pants. I picked them up and got changed into clothes so that I could actually go out.

"Do you want to go grab some breakfast, babe?"

"No I just want to sleep" he mumbled and turned over, cuddling the pillow replacing me.

I laughed, closing the door behind me as I text Leigh and Peyton to come join me for a coffee and maybe a muffin. They said they'd meet me in ten minutes so I went to the coffee shop myself and waited for them.
