So you probably forgot all about me, it's been that long. I've been busy with school starting and just a whole bunch of events going on. sorry about the lateness, i'm trying but i struggled with getting the detail for this chapter done.

Chapter 11

I remember you...

Zac's POV

When I woke up from my nap, my room was still in darkness. I rubbed at my eyes and pulled the earphones out of my ears. I could still hear music playing from them, I reached into my covers to find my lost phone. I glanced at the time bleary eyed and paused the music. I swung my legs off the bed and lifted myself up from my warm cocoon.

I went into the bathroom and got ready for dinner later on. I think I was going out with Kentin around 6 something. I pulled on some clothes that I just picked out of the closet and sprayed on some cologne. I brushed my teeth, styled my hair then got my wallet. Just as I went to pick up my phone from my bed the door opened and in walked Kentin.

He gave me a nod of acknowledgement and continued chatting on the phone. "Nah, nah it's ok really, you're invited" he muttered with a few sounds of agreement following whatever the other person was saying.

"It's just me, my roomie and you" he rolled his eyes as I stared at him curious, who was he talking to. "Yeah just come alright, I'll pick you up on the way"

"Great, that's great, bye Alexy" I watched his face light up as he agreed to come along. I watched him as he ended the call and threw himself onto the bed. He turned to face me giving me a happy smile.

"So who is this, Alexy?" I climbed onto his bed and sat down next to him.

"This guy I met at the club the other day, he's really cool although he's straight and taken" He kept babbling on for about 20 minutes about him. I shushed him when I thought I was going to hear it all again for the second time, he was just repeating everything over and over.

"So we're going clubbing with him soon?" I asked making sure I heard correctly.

"Yes, thanks for eavesdropping" he gave me an unimpressed look then started smiling failing at staying angry, "We're leaving for dinner in ten" with that he walked into the bathroom.

Who was this new friend of his? Cute name though I got to admit. I pulled on my shoes and checked my phone for messages. I answered a few from my friends and family then slipped it back into my pocket.

When Kentin came up we left right away. We went a little way off campus, I was driving and it was to a place that was pretty unknown. I had found it near the end of last year, it had nice food but it was difficult to get there and it was off the main road. So only a few people knew about this place and could actually find it.

It was called 'The Secret Kitchen', fitting name I think considering. I stepped inside, rubbing my arms from the cold. I should have worn a warmer jacket, I was freezing and my teeth are chattering. I sat down at a booth and waved a waiter over to give us our menus.
