2. First Look

Hey!! :) Whats up you guys

So new chapter, get excited :) Also about my first book, ill be writing the oneshots for them a bit later. Hope this chapter is ok. 

I have school again for a week but after that i have holidays so more updates, im wriitng this pretty slowly, i guess i prefer to write the drama. Its starting off kinda slow but yeah dont give up on me. It'll get better, still kinda new to this wriitng thing.

Chapter 2

First Look                 

Alex’s POV

I could feel someone shake me gently and call my name. Something also dropping to the floor making a loud noise. Was it really time to wake up already?

I rubbed my eyes, slowly waking up from my sleep. I looked across at my clock, 6:00pm. I must have been exhausted even though I actually didn’t sleep that long, only a couple hours.

Leigh was standing near his bed, searching through his luggage for clothes and objects were scattered all over the floor. He leaned down and picked them all up setting them back in the pack. He picked out a t-shirt and jeans and zipped it close. He still hasn’t put his clothes in the closet yet. His defence was that he liked everything in one place, but he took forever to find one thing. 

I yawned, stretching my arms and groaning. “You’re awake” he said turning around to face me. I nodded sleepily moving off my bed and stretching my legs a bit. 

“I just wanted to tell you that there is a party tonight at a house nearby and you’re invited to it” he slipped on his clothes as if I weren’t there.

“I’ll be there for sure” I averted my eyes away from him, a slight blush forming on my face. I was a little uncomfortable with this sort of thing. 

“It starts at 7:00pm, so get ready then we can go together” he finished changing and went onto his laptop leaving me to myself. 

I nodded and got my shampoo and conditioner and my change of clothes from the shelf and closet. I quickly took a shower and dressed in some dark coloured shorts and a casual shirt after changing at least three times. I know I’m so indecisive when it comes to clothes. I fixed my hair to my liking with some gel and grabbed my wallet, keys and phone.  

We walked out of the uni to a house nearby. We were a little early, but the party had already started. It was a general party to welcome back everyone, but I didn't know who's house it was. Leigh must know, so i guess it's fine. The sun had yet to set, but inside the place was dark, like a club. I walked in with a smile on my face. I loved parties. It’s a great way to meet people, especially at a new school.

I went to the kitchen around the back and got a drink. I leaned against the wall looking at everyone. Nobody caught my eye, a few people were giving me looks. I guess because I was a new face in the crowd and I was not bad looking to say the least. 

“Hi, you’re new here right?” a girl asked me, she sided up next to me.

I looked at her, she was pretty I guess, but I had a girlfriend, “Yes, it’s my first year” I wasn’t interested in a one night stand if that was what she was looking for. I was taken.

“Cool, if you need a friend, just come find me” Just friends was good, I needed a new circle of friends for this new year.

I agreed nodding and she wrote her number on my arm. I don’t really know why she wrote on my arm but she already started before I could tell her that I had my phone with me. Then she walked away without a goodbye and I was left alone once again. I sipped at my drink and left it on an empty table when I finished drinking it.
