Have you ever had that feeling that you're being watched? Well I have, just now.

I turned around, looking around in the alley. It was deserted. What is this? I'm Annabelle Mikaelson. I'm scared of nothing. I shrugged it off and continued walking down the alley, I was heading home, but I had decided to walk instead of get a lift or drive. What on earth had compelled me to do that, I have no idea. I walked slightly slower, feeling the wind blow through my hair and I looked around again. There was definitely someone here, I wasn't imagining it, not this time. Then suddenly I felt strong and muscular hands clutch around my neck, instantly I used my vampire speed and strength to shove the person off. I looked down at them in the dimly lit alley. Alaric Saltzman, "Well well well. This probably isn't the best way to introduce yourself in this town, is it? Hunter."

"You're a vampire... You killed Mr Tanner..." Alaric said, still quite shocked at how I had reacted. He stood up slowly and warily, obviously anticipating my next move.

"You know, it's a shame. I wasn't going to make you an evening snack until just now," I said and smirked slowly. I let my face fill with veins and my fangs extended and I grinned, "Well, this is going to be fun."

Before I could make a move against the human, I felt more strong hands grip around my neck and I was forced backwards against the wall this time, I looked who it was straight in the eyes, "Annabelle, behave," Elijah said, watching me carefully.

"You know, you take the fun out of everything," I said flatly and shoved him off, "I can share..." I offered hopefully.

"Annabelle Mikaelson. You know perfectly well that that isn't happening," Elijah said, looking me straight in the eye.

"You know, Dammy is so much more fun than you," I said and pouted.

Elijah rolled his eyes, "Dammy? Is that the 'petname' that you have for the older Salvatore now?"

"Yes, it is," I said matter-of-factly. It infuriated me that he spoke down on Damon, so I just stared him right in the eye and shoved past him, "I swear," I said, glancing over my shoulder to look at Alaric and showing my vampire face, "You're next on my list."

I heard Elijah sigh and then he sped over to Alaric, obviously trying to make amends for what I had done.

I sat alone in mine and Damon's bedroom, strumming out the tune of Roger Rabbit by Sleeping With Sirens on my guitar. It had been ages since I played, but I was still as good as before. I heard a door slam downstairs and I sighed. Stefan and Damon were arguing, again. Only this time it wasn't 'Who used the last coffee filter?' or 'Who had changed Stefan's hair shampoo into toothpaste?'. No, it was where that fucking doppelganger was. She was really starting to piss me off, and she wasn't even here. Obviously Damon couldn't care less where she was, but that made Stefan even more frustrated.

It wasn't long before I heard Damon stomp up the stairs, I could tell it was him from the noise that his boots made on the wood on each step. He walked into our bedroom and plopped beside me on the bed. He'd messed up the order of my guitar music, but I didn't falter. I knew it off by heart. I watched Damon's face, strumming the strings more quietly, "Baby, what's that?" I heard him mumble.

"What's what?" I asked, looking back to the guitar neck, as I reached the end of the song. I slipped the pluck under the strings and then stood up, putting the guitar on the stand behind the door and then looked back at Damon.

"That... What you were playing... It was, peaceful," he looked at me and smiled softly.

I smiled slightly and responded, "Roger rabbit, Sleeping With Sirens."

He nodded and looked at me, he stood up and walked over to me, cupping my face in his hands, "What's wrong baby?" he asked, nuzzling his nose on mine.

"Nothing..." I said and smiled softly, watching him rub his nose on mine.
