AFTER THE MEETING WITH PATRICIA AND MARIAH, AZ WENT BACK TO THE LODGE. Earlier Bree had been nowhere to be found and she figured her cousin probably wanted to be alone at the moment and gave her space. Patricia and Mariah however had been calling or texting. After a few tries from them, AZ finally picked up to reassure them she was fine. Now she was in Williams infirmary setting up his paperwork in order on his computer with Ebony curled up on her shoulder. While working on that, she went to think about everything.
Would it work for her? Seeing her parents that she had barely remembered when she was little. Meaning she had already seen them in multiple dreams, but they were dreams not something that felt real. After experiencing what happened with Louisa and Cecilia she was sure it could have been possible. It was like a pause. She was terrified. She wondered would they be the parents watching over her now or the parents from before. What would they think of her now? Would they tell her who killed them?
AZ checked her phone. Bree was probably going to do some training by now. According to her there would be two Lieges that would be joining them for training. Lieges. AZ tried to remember what she learned from her study with William. Former Scions and Squires who were aged out of their knight's inheritance when they turned twenty-two years old.
