Chapter 9 - Intimidating

Finally arriving at her workplace after so many days which seemed to be an eternity, YN couldn't help but feel tranquil from everything that's going through, but her tranquility was short lived as she saw how her nameboard was now changed from Dr. Min YN to Dr. Jeon YN.

When she walked in, the entire staffs, other doctors, the patients and other people eyed her and she was uncomfortable with all these unwanted attention. She didn't mind anyone and walked through the corridors towards her cabin considering that swearing at him is the better option to get rid of the frustration she have.

She sat on her chair and held her forehead in frustration. She eyed her nameboard and said, "you won't give me a peace of mind atleast at my workplace."

After completing her duties, she went to Nari's cabin for a chat. They discussed various events that had taken place recently, but she refrained from mentioning the unexpected kisses she had received. She was unsure of how Nari would react to the news, and more importantly, she didn't want her reputation to be tarnished by such a revelation. So, she kept her lips sealed on the matter.

Nari - so... let me ask you one thing... is he a pervert? Like did he talk anything like that to you till now?

YN - well, I can't say that he isn't a pervert, like he's 26 but he threatens me when I swear

Nari - what does he say?

YN - n-nothing much...

Nari - well, Alexis asked about you. actually he was awestruck when he saw your nameboard. He couldn't believe his ears when he heard that you got married.

YN - did he think that I wouldn't move on from him? he doesn't deserve my attention, anyways I am glad that he was on a medical workshop. I didn't wanted to go with batch 2 either back then. But still I feel uncomfortable around him Nari.

Nari - its alright YN. Once you adjust with your husband, everything will be alright.

YN didn't gave any reply instead she stood up from the chair and said, "I gotta go now. Mrs. Ahn have an appointment with me at 1.30, its already 1.15 now. See you.

Nari - sure.

She left the room and went to the cafeteria to have a hot coffee as she was feeling a bit uncomfortable about the things that happened recently to her.

The current situation was chaotic and overwhelming, leaving her feeling uneasy. Jungkook's behavior only added to her frustration, as he seemed to deliberately push her buttons and test her patience. Even the slightest provocation would lead her to curse under her breath, unable to contain her irritation. It was clear that she struggled to adapt to the abrupt shift in her surroundings, and Jungkook's antics only served to exacerbate the situation.

As she sat there lost in thought, her mind began to wander to the dark and troubling memories of her past. She couldn't help but remember the times when Jungkook's tactics would go beyond the limit in ways that left her feeling vulnerable and afraid. He would kiss her forcefully and whisper intimidating words in her ear, making her feel weak and powerless in his presence. The memory made her shudder with fear and she couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness and regret. Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted by someone approaching her. As she looked up, her expression soured and she rolled her eyes in frustration at the sight of the person before her - someone she had hoped never to see again.

Alexis - hey.. well, congratulations..

YN - hm.. thanks.

Alexis - well, what's your husband's name and what does he do?
