Chapter 23 - its time

Jungkook was in his cabin talking seriously with Jinhyuk about business. That's when his phone ringed. He looked at the caller ID and his face turned more serious now. He said in his coldest tone, "mail this to me before sending it to our client. You may leave now."
Jinhyuk nodded his head and bowed before leaving his office. Jungkook made sure that he went and answered the phone call.

?? - (cold tone) hey.

Jk - hello.. What made you call at this hour?

?? - well, I'm thinking to put a stop to this.

Jk - (frowns) you mean?

?? - I think it's the best time to reveal my identity and take her with me now. I don't know how will I do it and convince her, anyways I'll come by the weekend.

Jk - ohh.. I-I'll try to talk to her.

?? - hmm.. I can't wait for this moment. Anyways, thank you for helping me out and taking care of her in the best way.

Jk - sure...

The call ended. He felt someone grab his heart so tightly that he felt blood was oozing out heavily from it. He felt a slight pain knowing the fact that soon he will be all alone in that big ass mansion and ofc, her presence won't be there with him. That troubled him. He sighed heavily to remove this thing out of his mind as it was quite disturbing for him. Definitely, even though they were fuckbuddies, still her presence made him comfortable. He placed his palms on his face and gave a slight massage to his temples to get this thing off from his head. He inhaled ans exhaled sharply then looked on his laptop screen when he thought finally her thoughts was away from his mind.

Being a cardiologist, today she had to perform a surgery and her patient was Eunbi, a 10 year old enthusiastic girl. YN knew that Eunbi's parents were really stressed.

Flashback

Her parents were broken from inside when they found that Eunbi had a weak heart 2 years ago.

YN tried her level best to make them at ease and not to make it too obvious to Eunbi who was barely 8 back then. As how every doctors have a favorite patient, Eunbi became YN's too. YN always had a sister like feel more than a doctor when Eunbi visited her for regular checkups. But recently, Eunbi's condition really worsened that they had to admit her to the hospital and for a day she was unconscious.

But when she regained her consciousness, YN was beside her with her parents whose faces were really dull having a weak smile while looking at Eunbi who was laying on the hospital bed with many wires connected to her chest.

As a doctor and her childhood experiences realy made her bold and strong, she could handle the situation even after having a hard time as she was really sad over the 10 year old kid. But Eunbi was really optimistic that she tried talking to them. That's when YN thought to say about the surgery.

YN - Eunbi.... If you don't mind can i suggest something?

Eunbi - sure eonnie...

YN - I always call you a strong girl right?

Eunbi - yes... And I love to hear that from you. Mostly, my friends criticise me for having weak heart whenever I try to play with them. But your words always making me happy.

YN - why don't we show them that you have a strong heart? A strong girl with a strong heart.

YN was trying her level best to control her tears which were threatening to get welled up inside her eyes. Meanwhile Eunbi's face lit up and a bright smile came up on her face. Her dad was holding her mom tightly to not break down in front of Eunbi.
