Chapter 22 - open up

A week later

Amidst all the gunshots that were reverberating through almost the entire lonely building which was now haunted by The King's men, there came Jeon Jungkook with his secretary walking in front of him.

And that's the moment when a guy came rushing towards the king only to get shot by his secretary Jinhyuk.

After his arrival, everything happened so quickly that no extra guards were left other than his precious and mighty men. That's when Jinhyuk saw something and asked him,

Jinhyuk - Mr. JK, I think you are bleeding on your forehead.

Jungkook frowned as even he didn't had any idea if he was hit accidentally. He just checked the bruise with his finger and he saw some blood. He just wiped the blood from his forehead with his handkerchief and said,

Jk - it's just a small cut and that's ok for a guy like me who has been shot once. It's a part of my occupation. Well, I must say that you too don't look good with this cut on your forearm.

Jinhyuk - being the secretary of Mr. Jeon Jungkook aka JK isn't a simple task. Guess I need to make up another excuse to my wife. (Chuckles)

Jk - yeah(chuckles) ... I think we should now visit our dear enemy.

Jinhyuk - ofc.

Jinhyuk tucked his gun behind his back and then walked in with few more men. That's when they saw Kim Buwan on his knees and his hands were tied up behind. He was bleeding from his nose and his left eye had a bruise mark. Jinhyuk stayed behind letting Jungkook go inside.

The room was completely quiet and the only sounds heard were the sound of his boots and the heavy breathing of Kim Buwan. Jungkook smirked on seeing him in such a condition.

He ducked down to meet his level and chuckles evilly gaining the other guy's attention. He tiredly looked up at him.

Jk - never thought that you would come up again with the old enemity. But, let me be honest, did I ever had such an enemity with you?

Buwan - you both never knew that I was the one playing all such dirty games these years and that's my success.

?? - do you really think in that way huh? Even after getting caught and beaten to death like shit?

There came ?? From the dark room. Jungkook looked behind and he smirked at ??. He stood up and shook hands with him.

Jk - we never had any enemity with you. It was you who digged your own grave. So be ready to face the wrath.

?? Smirked.

Buwan - (laughs) I don't know why I'm finding this funny. My father was able to do many things in the past but the only mistake he did was letting a 20 year old alive.

Jk - i too remember how a 47 year old was begging to a 20 year old to spare his life. You should have seen it back then.

Buwan - YOU...!!

?? - it's better if you shut up. I regret sparing your life Buwan. I should have just killed you when I got to know that you were the one behind me losing my shares and business. It's just we set up a bait for you and to our luck, you got trapped into the bait. Isn't it ironical that the same guys who killed your father is going to kill you too?

Jk - you messed up with wrong guys.

Buwan - Even if I die don't think you both can live in peace as I have laid my eyes on the ace... And that ace is no one but Min YN. Something big is waiting for you.
