Chapter 1.

Footsteps rang through the silent air as you walked onto the boat, catching the eyes of multiple, you sighed already annoyed, many either blushed, let out unnecessary cat calls or seemed to glare at you threatened or with judgement. Looking around, you spotted two guys who were dressed quite differently from the rest, a guy in a blue suit with glasses looking at an inappropriate magazine and a blond pretty boy in a unique outfit catching your attention.

You walked over next to the blond pretty boy giving him a quick nod and a small kind smile before sitting on a wooden barrel next to him, your legs swinging back and forth unable to reach the ground 'I'm already bored and I just got on' you thought, your head tilting back resting against some random part of the boat as you shut your eyes and hummed. The blond teen looked at you curiously, something about your aura was different, dangerous even, he couldn't even sense you but he liked your presence so he scooted closer to you not wanting to bother you but hoping to talk to you once you were fully awake, every once in awhile looking over to admire your features.

You didn't know how much time had passed before the boat stopped at a familiar island. An energetic green haired boy walked on to the boat beaming "Bye aunt Mito! I promise to be the best hunter ever before coming back!!" that caught your attention, your eyes quickly looking at the boy who was now being ridiculed by a hobo looking guy who was also on board when you walked on, now noticing him you recalled he had catcalled you once you had walked on.

You jumped off the barrel startling the blond boy, his eyes shifted over to you as you walked over to the green haired boy quietly, he didn't even seem to notice you walk right up behind him "Hello again Gon" He quickly turned around, shocked at your unexpected presence his mood quickly changed to happy and excited "Y/N!" Gon almost tackled you to the floor hugging you tightly, lifting your hand up, you patted his head, returning his affection.

Walking with him off to the side of the boat not wanting to awkwardly be standing in the middle being watched you smiled "It's been awhile how's Mito?" You asked the greenette.

You remember how close you became with Gon and his aunt when you were younger and weaker, you stumbled upon their house covered in blood, it was both your own blood and your victims but nobody had to know that, they welcomed you with open arms, treating your wounds, making you food and letting you stay multiple nights. 

You knew Gons father and respected both Gon and his aunt, once you left you traveled, met new people, grew stronger and more, you would occasionally visit Gon and his aunt and each time they noticed your new found strength, Mito would always compliment how mature and beautiful you looked each time and Gon grew connected to you, loving your attention and wanting to stay by your side, you grew a sibling like relationship and a strong bond. (Platonic obsession)

Gon smiled brightly "She misses you a lot, you haven't visited in a long time, longer then usual and she was right! You keep getting prettier!" You gave him a closed eye smile, thanking him. Gon was about to talk but you both looked up at the seagulls that were squawking, Gon looked at you like he was asking for your permission to go, you nodded and watched him walk over to the captain of the small ship telling him about the storm that was about to roll in.

You walked back over to your spot next to the blond boy, he kept staring at you and eventually you looked over at him, tilting your head amused. He snapped out of it and stammered out an apology "It's ok, I don't mind if anything I'm flattered" You said with a smile, a small blush appeared on his face that quickly disappeared "I'm Kurta Kurapika, please call me Kurapika" He said giving you a semi bow since he was sitting "Y/N" You responded also giving him a semi bow. 

You stood and kneeled down in front of him, placing a hand on his head carefully "You should get inside by the way pretty boy, it's about to be a rough ride" He froze, watching you leave before following your instructions and heading inside unconsciously 'What was that..?' He thought shaking his head, he did miss talking to you though.
