MAKING UP LOVE

At 8 in the evening, Haseena finally managed to unlock the door of her house. She stepped inside, tossing her keys, jacket and baton onto the recliner, still on a call.

"Cheetah aaj jo do cases solve hue hai uski charge-sheet ready rakhna... Aur Santu se kehna Raj ke fraud case ki details hume bhejne ke liye...", Haseena said to cheetah and ends it.

Exhausted from her work, she sank onto the couch, legs stretched out onto the center table, keeping her phone aside. Despite her shoes still on and the day's fatigue weighing her down, Haseena drifts into a light slumber. Minutes later, Karishma entered the house and immediately noticed Haseena resting in an unusual position. She moved around the living area, placing her purse on the center table.

Karishma's voice carried a hint of irritation as she scolded, "Jaan, aap ko itni baar kahan hai shoes table par nai rakhte... And why are your keys here? Aur ye jacket...? Haseena, kitni baar samjhaye? Apni cheezein jagah par rakhiye aur phir aapko jo karna hai kariye. Haar baar baache ki tarah samjhna padta hai. Kabhi toh khud ka khayal rakhiye... Shaadi hogayi hai aap ki, apni relationship wali life se bahar aayi..."

Karishma continued to reprimand Haseena's absent-mindedness. But as she spoke and moved around, she noticed that there was no response from Haseena. Frowning, Karishma turned her attention towards her partner.

"Jaan?" Karishma tried again, only to realize that Haseena was deeply asleep. She let out a sigh, realizing that her scoldings had gone unnoticed. "Kisne kaha tha iss police officer ko itna kaam kare ki usse hi pata na chale uske ghar mein koi ghus gaya hai aur wo behosh so rahi hai," Karishma muttered in disbelief, shaking her head and a natural soft chuckle as she looked at Haseena, who was now peacefully dozing on the couch.

She proceeded to gently remove Haseena's shoes, placing them neatly by the entrance. As she carefully took out Haseena's service gun placing it in the drawer and the keys on the key holder. She couldn't help but smile at the sight of her usually composed and strong-willed partner now in such a vulnerable state.

Karishma leaned down, her voice a mixture of tenderness and fondness as she whispered, "Kitni baar samjhaya hai ki kaam ke chakkar mein apne liye bhi thoda time nikale kare, my sweetheart." She brushed her lips against forehead.

Haseena stirred slightly, mumbling something in her sleep. Karishma's smile widened, and she leaned in to press a soft kiss on Haseena's lips. "You work so hard to serve our nation my love... I'm so proud of you." Karishma murmured, her voice filled with affection.

As Karishma continued to watch Haseena sleep, a thought crossed her mind. She decided that it was time to plan something special for Haseena, something that would allow her partner to relax and unwind. She knew that Haseena deserved it, especially after the tense argument they had.

Karishma took a moment to gather a blanket and draped it over Haseena, turning on the AC, ensuring her comfort. With a final loving gaze, she turned away, determined to create a peaceful atmosphere for her partner. She freshened up and started preparing a light dinner, Karishma couldn't help but smile, looking forward to the surprise she had in mind.

She knew that Haseena had been under a lot of stress lately, and she wanted to create a soothing atmosphere for her to come home to.
As the aroma of the meal filled the air, Karishma set the dining table with care, placing Haseena's favorite dishes and a scented candle in the center. She dimmed the lights and put on some calming instrumental music, creating a serene ambiance that she hoped would help Haseena relax.

After a while, Haseena began to stir on the couch, slowly waking up from her nap. She blinked a few times, adjusting to the soft light in the room. As her gaze settled on the dining table, her eyes widened in surprise. She glanced at the clock and realized that she had been asleep for quite some time.
