Nick and charlie walked to the police station together, just chatting about homework and stuff. Obviously nick brought up rugby, amd charlie brought up the drums. But they still had alot of fun.

Nicks pov:

As we got to the police station we walked in and heard a familiar mutter? "That's them, right there, nick and charlie." It was Ben. "What have you told them Ben, what have you said." I had never heard charlie shout that loud at someone. "Told them what u did, how you sexual assultalted me." " WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT, YOU ASSAULTED CHARLIE, WHAT THE FRICK ARE YOU GOING ON ABOUT." "Sir, calm down, he has proof of what charlie did."
"So do I, he's not the only sneaky one, charlie didn't do anything."

N- nick
C- charlie
PO- ben tell your story first and show your proof.
B- I was walking to the shops and saw charlie approach me. He said " hey baby" I didn't want us to be talking like that in public, I told him that and he pinned me against a wall amd started aggressively kissing me and biting my neck, all the way down to my wrist. My proof, is this hickey.
C- that's not what happened. Charlie said under his voice.
PO- speak up.
C- I SAID THATS NOT WHAT HAPPENED.
PO- what happened then? Tell me boys. Nick first.

N- charlie had been at my house, he had a panic attack on his way to school so I tried calming him down, I held his hand while doing so, so he didn't run off and get worse. He wanted to come to mine coz he would be in trouble for not going to school, on his way home he called me, just incase he had another panic attack, then I heard Ben. He accused charlie of cheating on him as I was holding his hand whilst he couldn't breath. Ben started doing stuff to charlie and touching him in the wrong places, charlie was screaming to stop it, but he wouldn't, thats when I came and took him off of charlie and he punched me knocking me to the floor and not being able to sit up for 1 hour, then ran off. Here's the call for proof.
PO- charlie? Is this true?
C- it is, sir. He gave me death threats aswell. He made Me so so scared.

Charlie couldn't help but cry.

B- they are teaming up sir!!
PO- they have proof, you don't, you could've easily done that your self. You will be fined £2000 for sa and £1000 for death threats. Along with 10 days in Juvy.

Charlie's pov:

Me and nick went outside relieved,  stood about a metre away, stupidly I stepped forward and hugged nick, only for 1 second "sorr-" He hugged me back. "It's okay, I know how scared you have been and now it's all over. You deserve it char."

A few days later
Charlie's pov:

GOD I LIKE NICK SO MUCH. The only problem is, he's straight. It's kind of obvious. I've known him for about a month now and I can't help liking him. I couldn't tell him that though, it would ruin our friend ship.

Texts:

C- hey nick! Wanna come round my house tomorrow afternoon? We can play Mario cart?

N- of course! Also, quite awhile ago but last year in sports day, you ran like really fast, i mean I think that was you? Unless your name isn't charlie spring. Anyways would u like to join the rugby team? We have enough players but just need a reserve to play against other teams.

C- I've never played rugby lol
N- I can teach you?
C- only if u will make pizzas with me tomorrow. Otherwise, the deal is off.
N- DUH
C- see you then ❤️

Charlie's pov: that's a habit I didn't mean to happen. I usually always put a ❤️ at the end of text convos, but I accidentally did it to nick. I keep forgetting I have no chance with him. Everyone knows his straight. He's just really caring, that's all. I so badly want to tell him but I don't want My heart broken.

The next day:
Nicks pov:

I keep getting texts from Ben like how he hates me, but he hates charlie more, and how he's going to make charlie feel worthless. I just ignored them and blocked him.

Anyways I'm going to Charlie's now. I need to tell charlie what he's been saying, i don't want him to find out another way and hate me.

I knocked on the door but charlie didn't answer.

Tori- Charlie's upstairs, he hasn't came down today.
N- um? Is he awake?
T- I don't know. As she gestured me to go look.

I walked into Charlie's room. He was as pale as a ghost.
