"Charlie?? Are you okay?" I said calmly, I didn't want him to get overwhelmed. "Sorry, Nick, didn't realise the time, haha." "Btw, I'm fine, don't worry."Mmk, " I responded, not very convincingly.
"Anyways, Nick, let's go to the shop and get the stuff for the pizzas!!!"Yeah, okay!" Something was up with him? He can't go from sad and looking like a ghost to the happiest person alive? I'm just overthinking it.

On the way to the shops I asked charlie a question, "Do you wanna come with me to my friends party on Saturday? It's only at his house but it still should be fun!" "What friend?" Otis! He's on the rugby team. Don't worry, he's kind."Nick! You found another friend!! Also, would Harry or Ben be there?" "Ye! And I don't think so, if they are then we can just leave if you like?"Ok, I'm in." "Yess, "

"Nick! The dough won't roll. It keeps bouncing back! I think it's trying to hit on me!" "Hah! You and the pizza dough are meant to be!" "Do you think the pizza dough is gay?" Charlie asked quite seriously, but in a joke way."Could be?" "Here let me help roll it out." I could see charlie slightly smiling at me whilst rolling it out for him, "god you weren't lying. This pizza dough must be alive."

Whilst waiting for the pizza to cook, we were teasing each other about having pineapple on pizza. "Pineapple on pizza is THE BEST."EW NICK THATS DISGUISTING YOUR MAKING ME HEAVE" "pineappleeeeeee onnnnnn pizzaaaaaaaa" "nickkkkkkk, nooooooo" charlie chuckled. "Nahhhh," we both couldn't stop laughing, it dulled down a bit, and then we just stared into eachothers eyes for about a minute straight. His eyes are bright green, but when the sun hits them, there is a slight suddness blue peeping through. *ding* "pizzas done!" Charlie screamed excitedly. Breaking the tension between us.

Charlie's pov:

Just me, or is it hot in here? God, Nick nelson is making me sweat. I sliced the pizza up while saying, "This pineapple is disguistinggg," and nick laughing at me. I wanted to make pizzas since I hadn't eaten much since what Ben did, I was too traumatised. That explains why I was so pale, I wanted to tell Nick, but it's just so hard. I thought it was just because of that, but wherever my pizza went close to my mouth, I took it away again. What's happening? "Hot?" Nick questioned."Uh, yeah, hot," tears started forming to my eyes, I kept throwing my head 5 to get rid of them, " Are you okay, charlie? It's been ten minutes, and you haven't eaten anything." More and more tears started rolling down my face, faster each time. Nick pushed himself away from the table and quickly shifted to the side I was on. "Hey, charlie, calm down." You don't have to eat it, you can save it for later, when you're more hungry and its cooled down." I didn't want to eat it later, I didn't ever want to eat it. " I can't eat it. I haven't eaten anything since Friday, 3 days." Nick started breathing heavily in shock. The next minute his arms were around me, hugging me. Safe. "Charlie, why didn't you tell anyone." "I was scared." He hugged me tighter.
"Thank you nick, for being such a good friend." " No worries." God that hurt saying friend, but it doesn't matter, nick is amazing either way. "Was this all because of ben?" "Yeah, I guess so." "Char, please try eating something, I don't want you, yk. Obviously you don't hav-" "Ok, I'll try" I shoved a bite of pizza in my mouth making it impossible for me to speak, nick laughed and grabbed a piece of his, doing the same thing. This cheered me up alot, it made me realised, food is good, so is nick.

Nicks pov:

I was smiling, but inside I was so so scared for charlie, he was literally as white as a piece of paper this morning, and now he's just broke down telling me he can't eat. I really want to tell charlie i like him, maybe at the party I will.
Get it all off of my shoulders. Even if he says no, I still want to be friends.
