part 14- the only thing i need

Tw- mentions anxiety of coming out.

Nicks pov:

I go into the bathroom to get changed, and all of the sudden, fears spark in my mind of coming out. I try to snap myself out of it but they just keep bouncing back. I start pacing up and down the bathroom, breathing in and out, it must've been about 5 minutes, then I heard a knock on the door, "nick, are you nearly ready" "Yeah, yeah nearly done." Im not very good at hiding. "Nick? Are you okay? You sound out of breath." Charlie said in a panicy voice. "Ye, fine, I'll be about a minute" I was still in my pyjamas, so that's when I started ripping everything off in a hurry and putting my uniform on. I walk outside after putting myself together and Charlie's sat outside, back against the wall. I turn to charlie "Can I have a hug?" Tears start forming in my eyes. Charlie's hugging me, and slowly them tears turn into small whimps, and them small whimps turns into full on sobbing. Charlie pulls me into my room and sits me down on the bed. "What's going on, Nick?" even his eyes had tears.
I start breathing heavily again, hand on my chest. "I'm not going to make you speak about it, but do you want me to get you anything?"
"The only thing I need," still breathing heavily. "Is you" charlie flings himself on my hugging me so so tight, rubbing my back, trying to calm me down, after I start calming down he keeps whispering "it's ok" down my ear.
"Thank you" I say this meaningfully. Charlie just smiles. "Is it anything you want to talk about?" "Maybe later."Wanna stay off and watch a movie? I can explain everything to Sarah, and I've got nothing to lose" I nod in response.

Charlie's pov:

I go downstairs to tell Sarah and she's completely fine with it "your such a good friend to darling" I just smiled back. But that hurt. 'Friend' don't overthink it charlie. She doesn't know. I went upstairs, nick lying there, looking defeated. "Can we talk" "of course nick."
"I really want to come out, and I want everyone to know your My amazing boyfriend. But, I just don't know, I keep getting fears, and nightmares about bad things people would say. I know I would be fine though. I have you. Im going to go tell my mom now. I can't handle it anymore" "want me to come? And nick, I'm here for you. You don't have to come out at all if you don't want to" "I want to."

Nicks pov:

I go downstairs, I know mom will support me, but its just hard showing it. "Mom, can we talk?" "Of course nicky! Are you feeling ok now?" "Yeah, charlie helped me" Sarah just smiled. "Um, I don't really know how to say it but-"
"You and charlie are dating, aren't you." "Uh yeah, that's it, how did you know?" "Well I heard you litreally talking about coming out and calling charlie the most amazing boyfriend." Charlie let out a "Whoops" and I chuckled back.

Me and charlie decided to take Nellie on a walk, to get the stuff out my head. "Did that make you feel better? Telling someone." "Yeah, yeah it did. I think im going to be fine. I think I'm going to do it after GCSE'S just before Paris, I don't know though. That's a whole month away." That's not when I was going to do it. But charlie didn't know that. "Anyways, char, do you wanna do that rugby match coz you don't have to, I know you don't like pressure" "if I have to, I will but its like you read my mind hah" "that's fine char, ill tell coach tomorrow" charlie snuggled his head on my shoulder, still walking side by side.

This is such a short chapter but the next one will be way longer!!
