(Boris' pov)

I woke up to the sound of footsteps.I looked over to see Nine walking into the room.He had his belt on now, so he also had his metal tails.He was just pacing back and forth.I sat up and watched him pace.I walked over to him and grabbed his wrist he froze and looked at me with tears in his eyes.

"You okay?"I asked calmly.He nodded and walked back to the couch and wrapped his arms around his knees.I sat next to him and put my arm around him.He slapped my arm and I flung backwards.I looked at his angry eyes."LEAVE ME ALONE!!!"He shouted.I whimpered a little, and he apparently noticed."Don't have a panic attack... I can't deal with that now..."He whispered.

I reached over and picked him up, putting him on my lap."Put me down!"He said,squirming.I shook my head and hugged him tightly.He turned around and hugged me back.

We hugged for a good minute til He let go and looked up at me."T-thanks..."He mumbled, getting up and walking towards the box by my desk.

"Why were you crying?"I asked softly.He looked back at me and whispered."Nightmare."I looked surprised.Someone who I thought was super tough and unemotional was crying about a nightmare.

"What was it about?"I asked curiously.He looked at me with a small smile."It's nice to know someone cares....it was about all these kids that used to bully me about having an extra tail."He said calmly.

I walked over to him and hugged him from behind him."I don't understand why someone would treat such an amazing person different because of one thing,"I said sweetly.I watched as he looked into my eyes and blushed.

(Nine's pov)

I just noticed how amazing and cute Boris is.'Wait, did I say cute?!'I thought to myself.I need to pull myself together.I mean He is pretty perfect.He's kind and gentle and super adorable.'Snap out of it, Nine.He probably doesn't like guys.And even if he does, I've been so mean to him'.I mentally scolded myself.I looked into his beautiful green eyes.'God, I want to kiss him so ba-wait no Nine get it together!!!'I screamed at myself.

"Let's go see if the others are awake."I said, standing up and walking to the door.I saw Boris smile and walk over."Alright, Nine,"he said and walked out the door.

'He's perfect!'I thought.'oh my fucking God!!!'I mentally scolded myself again.
