Chapter 63

(DB's pov)

DD slowly and cautiously walked over to the door and opened it to see DN with a pipe bomb. He must have ran here. Which is scary since he probably ran about a mile, maybe more. I watch him with a surprised look. He glares at me and then speaks.

"Take a picture. It'll last longer." He said as he rolled his eyes. I blushed and looked away. "S-sorry bout that." I mumbled.

DD, DT, and Sonic stared at us and raised an eyebrow. "What's happening here?" Sonic mumbled. DN looked at me, and I looked at him before we both looked back at them and shrugged. We were not about to tell them that we were a thing now. Not yet, at least.

"Where are Nine and Boris?" Sonic asked with a raised eyebrow. DN then spoke. My ears raised at attention, and he chuckled at that. "They're at the Rebels HQ." He said, and everyone nodded.

"Alright, well, should we go there or...?" I said, looking at everyone, and they all shrugged. Sonic then sighed, looking down at his feet.

"Let's go get Shadow and then leave." He mumbled, and we all looked at him like he was crazy.

"You're still helping us, right?" DT asked, and Sonic nodded. "Yeah, I promised you something. Even though we didn't finish the mission, I'll still help you out." Sonic said, and DT and DN nodded.

"Alright, let's go." DN said, and we all walked out. But when I walked out, I could have sworn that I saw the version of Joey that we just had to deal with peaking out from somewhere...
